I have a 10/22 and a CZ 455 Mannlicher. Out of the two I prefer the CZ.

Further up I already mentioned I need to stay out of the gun store.
CZ Mannlichers are fine rifles. The Ruger 10/22 is also very appealing.
My first rifle was a CZ 452. Birch stock, but real nice blueing and the action was awesome.
I didn't appreciated enough. I was in for center fire.
That's exactly why I am cautious with a 10/22.



Considering all the firearms that came thru in the last 20 years, what remains are 2 S&W revolvers, 2 1911s and the Henry Single Shot.
I thought of getting an All Weather Model. I strongly favor the pistol grip, but 45-70 is just a hump too far. That Picatinny rail is not something I have to have to start with. I am also re-drawing the original story board. Keep pistol calibers with hand guns and fire rifle calibers from a rifle.

Next week I have to go back to my favorite LGS to pick up a HK P2000 in 9mm. I couldn't pass on it, esp. since I have a few thousand rounds of 9mm stashed and no weapon for it. <<< That's another story for another day. Now, I can't believe I end up with a German gun.

I have a cheapo CZ455 (iirc) plastic-stock, threaded-barrel. Light weight, small light scope, perfect rifle for shooting with a can. I drag it out every now and then. I bought it as a predator-control night-vision rifle when we had chickens. It did its job superbly.

I’ve had many German guns. Most notable a Mauser and several PP, PPK, PPKs, PK and a P. The P, PP and PPK were all .22LR while the s and PK were 380.

In the stuff that i'm listing locally are a bunch of 22s. Sig trailside target, larrys guns x-esse, with matchdot and all larrys goodies, kimber 82g w/tuner, anschutz mpr with tuner. Beretta 87t w/10mags, cz 512, i simply dont shoot non suppressed guns when i have a gun that suppresses in the same caliber.

Shooting suppressed changes a lot of things. First and foremost, you can shoot longer, with far less recoil and sound. Extended range sessions don't leave your ears ringing, hands tingling, or shoulders throbbing.

Can’t own them in Washington State either. That’s one of the many reasons I now live in Wisconsin.

Like the great Don Bathe, my first firearms advisor.

His AR was deemed illegal and so was his sawed-off shotgun.
He sold his house at the height of the real estate bubble and moved from Santa Maria to the Scottsdale area in AZ.

His very first lesson: 'There are two kinds of revolvers. Single Action & Double Action revolvers'.

Some previous owner scratched a number on the inside strap of the grip. Appears to be a SS#.
