51 heading to 80 or so today with sunny skies. Nice all week until Friday. One forecast I looked at shows rain for Friday and the weekend. Sure hope so.

No plans to do anything productive today. Just watch the last day of the US Open golf tournament and later go to my son’s girlfriend’s house for dinner. Her dad will be there so we will have the opportunity to meet him. This is a fairly new relationship for them. Should be fun.

53 and partly cloudy but there is a promise of a nice day ahead. High around 80 or so. Nice all week until Friday when we have the possibility of thunderstorms. That’s not good with as dry as the area is.

Tomorrow we are heading up to a town called Colville. It’s the county seat for Stevens County where our property is located. We are using an attorney there to do the closing for the sale of the property. We will be signing the closing docs tomorrow and then will head up to the place to bring home the last of the items up there. Also one last time to use the range there.

My son has a newer girlfriend who has done some shooting many years ago with her dad. They are planning on meeting us there to have one last use of the range and give her more familiarity with firearms. My son plans to bring his bolt 22, a 9mm and an AR that needs the scope zeroed on. I’ll probably bring my Henry 327 along with its companion Ruger SP101 in 327. My wife will bring her bolt 22 and I’ll bring my Ruger 10/22 and S&W M/63 22lr. That should give his girlfriend a good variety of guns to shoot without exposing her to excessive recoil. Should be a good time. :D

52 and sunny this morning with a nice day in the low 80’s ahead. Nice this week but starting Friday the lows will be only in the 60’s. This weekend is the big 3 on 3 basketball tournament in Spokane called Hoopfest. The players will enjoy the cooler temps. Some years this event has had upper 90’s to triple digits. Not fun!

We’re heading up to the property for probably the last time. Going to spend some time on the range and will do a report tomorrow. Fun, fun, fun!!!

56 with bright sunny skies this morning. Nice day ahead with a high around 90 expected. Nice again tomorrow but windy as a storm is heading our wan on Friday. Too bad about the winds as I’m playing golf tomorrow and do bad enough without winds adding to my poor performance. But a good excuse right?

On the negative side we are under another red flag warning tomorrow for wildfire. Low humidity, hot temps and gusty winds. A horrible combination with as dry as it is around here.

I’ve been informed that today I will be power washing the patio. So I guess today I will be power washing the patio. I wait until Friday to clean the guns I fouled up yesterday as it’s supposed to be a rainy day. Perfect for gun cleaning!

Got a bit hotter than 93' yesterday - 96'.
This morning 60 and sunny. 90' or higher later. Rain still likely starting Friday morning through Saturday. 60's expected with the rain, so the heat pump will likely be switched from AC to Heat.
