Wind Speed E 10 mph
Barometer 30.19 in
Sunny, with a high near 84.
East southeast wind around 10 mph.
Sad day today. We ae going to the funeral for my old poppy selling
buddy. He was a purple heart vet, (Army Medic), and a retired police
investigator. The family has not requested a Rifle Squad Salute so
perhaps the police will be providing one.
Good bye old friend.

Ugh. Warm and humid right now. Humidity is something we rarely have to suffer. Today is going to be interesting. The current high humidity combined with a fast heat up to 90 is going to cause severe thunderstorms to develop later this afternoon. Ping pong ball sized hail and winds to 70 mph along with the lightning. The worst of it is supposed to stay to the south and west of my place and I’m happy about that. Could be a wildfire starter………
More mowing today until it gets hot.

So you’re home from “The ‘Bu”? It was hot and muggy here yesterday. Today is showing just hot and blue but electrical storms are here tomorrow. I guess I better get the fire sprinklers up on the roof today…

I put the window a/c up a couple days day. If I put it in the upstairs it cools and more importantly dehumidifies the entire house. It costs me more to cool the house in the summer than to heat it in the winter.

Yep, back in the beautiful northwest just in time for last nights light show. I’m sure you got lit up too.
57 and muggy this morning. The expected thunderstorms arrived last night but thankfully we didn’t get any hail or big winds. Other than several power outages I haven’t heard of any damage or wildfires. Back into the 70’s for today’s high. Maybe a shower or two later but no storms.
Finished my mowing of the rough area’s yesterday and today I’ll do the lawn once it dries out. Sure love this time of the year when everything is still green.

Barometer 30.08 in
Mostly sunny, with a high near 86.
Southeast wind around 5 mph.
Another funeral today. A female member of our gun club who got cancer a year ago.
She was about 5 Ft. tall and shot trap every chance she got.
We also spent a lot of time with she and her husband in Arizona.
She will be missed.
Getting tired of funerals.

53 and overcast with a strong breeze blowing. Haven’t seen the high but I suspect we will struggle to hit 70. We had another thunderstorm last night with some rain. Not as severe as the storm the night before. Some damage to a few homes and cars from falling trees and at one time about 30k folks without power.
Today my plan is to change the oil in my tractor as I’m hauling it up to the property tomorrow to do some field mowing. I’ll get it loaded on the trailer and the other needed preps as I want to get an early start.
