Sitting here with a Shiner Bock waiting for news of my daughter. She is pregnant and was Care Flighted to the big city.
I feel for you my friend. Your daughter, and she's so far away. God be with her and you. I hope by morning you have a new Grandchild and she is safe and sound.

Well deserved BRM, enjoy a beverage and the new grandson.

We came home a day early from camp so I missed my “last night in camp adult beverage”. Or not….I enjoyed a couple of gin and tonics on the patio last night.

Congrats BRM! The Irish never let a little thing like the time of day prevent them from celebrating or otherwise partaking!

Mowed today, planted flower beds, and helped the missus with her elevated garden and fertilized lawn. Sitting here having a Dos Equis and watching the Yankees and Mets play baseball. To the forum and all who visit here! Salud🇲🇽

I helped the wife open the pool, (Grandchild magnet), and then after a nice dinner a couple of drinks on the deck, and off to bed.

A little martini on the deck and then the storm came in. It's raining now and I hope it rains all night. :D

I had a busy day.
Sold poppies for the VFW for four hours.
Purchased and hauled home 16 gallons of pools shock for Carol.
Moved tractor and trailer out of barn so friend can retrieve his stored Mustangs.
(I told him I wasn't sure how much storm damage they had last night).
(He just laughed, knows me too well I guess).
Hauled all the pool shock down to the pump room.

Now, I have a Cooper's Bourbon over ice and a water chaser.
Life is good.

Last week I mentioned I think that I met a Battalion Commander of the Norwegian Army selling poppies.
Today, two young men from the Chez Republic stopped and visited with us. Nice guys. Just visiting America.
They said they would like to live here.

I'm raising a rum and coke in the direction of all. It's not the first of the night, and may not be the last. We are sweltering in Upstate NY tonight. A record breaking day weather wise I'd say. A couple of new to me handguns were acquired today. One was one that was very popular with law enforcement, but seldom seen being available for sale. The other was a very cool find. Something I never had much use for, but this one is one I can get a little excited about.

Cheers to all great forum members.

Sitting here with an Irish Coffee after dinner and watching it finally rain in our area, hope it lessens the drought also.
