Gasoline/Diesel/Propane Prices

A couple of days ago Spokane was 4.89 for reg and 6.29 for diesel. About .20 cents more here in Deer Park. My wife’s cousin sent me this pic last Sunday. This is in the Corona area south of Los Angeles.

A couple of days ago Spokane was 4.89 for reg and 6.29 for diesel. About .20 cents more here in Deer Park. My wife’s cousin sent me this pic last Sunday. This is in the Corona area south of Los Angeles.

That made the national news about a week ago. Gas in the surrounding area was considerably less expensive. What I found interesting in the article is that the station had a steady stream of customers. You'd think customers would avoid this station. Apparently the station is in a unique 'convenience' location.

There is a station on North Alameda (near China Town/LA) that starts at $8.71.

Cheaper Stations (As of late March/early April 2026):

76, 4600 Melrose Ave (East Hollywood): Reported around $4.89 - $4.99.
Sinclair, 4590 Melrose Ave (East Hollywood): Reported around $4.97.
Mobil, 730 E. Las Tunas Drive (San Gabriel): Reported around $4.99.
Arco/ampm Locations: Several stations in areas like Bell Gardens and Downey were listed in the $5.20s

That’s crazy Mags. We’re taking a trip down there in May and renting a car. It will be interesting to see what the prices are then.

I bought gas in Idaho yesterday and paid 3.93 and drove past the same brand station in Spokane where the price was 4.89.
