Good morning and welcome to the first day of Spring.
Woke up to 54°, going to the mid 80's. And, even a bit warmer for the weekend.
Had a little breakfast and off to work in a min.
Finishing up a job, and will be off early.

60 at 11:30AM on this first day of Spring 2026 .... forecasted high 70 followed by an overnight low of 51 .... we've already taken Maureen's Blazer to a local garage to have it serviced .... we've also made a dump run to haul off household trash .... nothing else new that will take us away from home today

53 and overcast with a high in the low 60’s expected. Might have some light rain showers this afternoon. Cooler but sunnier weekend on tap with lows back around freezing. I’ve been saving the last of my firewood for the next few days. Still splitting next seasons wood.

Gonzaga men’s basketball had a win but an ugly win last night in the March Madness tournament Tomorrow they play Texas who looked great beating BYU yesterday. If Gonzaga plays as poorly on offense as they did last night they will be heading home.

44 this morning and hungry. Too many good looking breakfasts above. Still dark but as I recall today is supposed to be a decent day. Tonight a cold front arrives and temps are expected to get below freezing overnight again.

Not much on tap for today other than watching March Madness. At 4:10 pacific time Gonzaga takes on the Texas Longhorns. It’s going to be a tough matchup for Gonzaga. I’m hopeful but not overly confident. 🤞

Lakeville, MN,
Fair, 54°F,Humidity 72%
Wind Speed S 7 mph
Barometer 29.70 in
Mostly sunny, with a high near 74.
South southwest wind 5 to 15 mph becoming west in the afternoon.

Holbrook, AZ
Clear, 44°F,Humidity 21%
Wind Speed ESE 2 MPH
Barometer NA
Sunny, with a high near 92.
Light and variable wind becoming west 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon.
Winds could gust as high as 25 mph.

Albuquerque tonight. We appreciate the safe travel wishes. Yesterday we drove the route
from Mesa, AZ through Payson, AZ and on to Holbrook, (the home of the Petrified Forest).
It a very scenic drive with many steep descents and huge drop offs. We have driven it many
times but it always impresses me.

Looks good Gene, not much here either, Hatch.
We do have a babyshower to attend this afternoon. The oldest granddaughter is having her second this May.
87° for the high later, time for some riding, maybe.

30 and sunny this morning. Not sure what the high is expected to be but I would guess in the upper 40’s to lower 50’s anyway. Nice week ahead other than back to cooler temps. Have a nice fire going in the stove for the first time in probably a week.

I have some battery cables on order from the more and more unreliable Amazon that were supposed to be delivered yesterday. Now today with no time shown. Grrrrr I wanted to get my four wheeler in action today and need the cables to do so. Regardless I have some tractor work to do first so at least I can get that done.
