Now today they are reporting the potential for wind gusts of up to 60mph! The wind just started to pick up as I type this. I am afraid there will be trees down and power outages, probably trailer bans on the interstates.

We get a lot of wind storms which knocks trees down on power lines too.

Got the coffe brewing. Most of my outdoor plans are shot by the snow. Now I've got to decide if I'll spend the day reloading or painting the livingroom.

Just went outside before turning in and it is a beautiful evening. Temp around 60° with a 7 mph breeze out of the SE and the sky is so clear you feel like you could reach up and touch the stars.

Almost made me feel young again. Until I turned to step into the house and led with my bad knee! Guess I am still just an old man, but a very blessed old man.

Overslept this morning.....good thing I work from home and don't punch a clock. Coffee tasted the same though so maybe I will sleep in more often.

We are back into normal spring weather here. We had a short one week stretch early March where we went from winter to summer. Temps jumped from high 30's and low 40's to 80 plus. Now nice cool evenings and nights temps in the 50's days warming up to low 70's. I could live like this all year long.

Good morning all. Here in Jonesboro, Georgia this morning, the temp is a rather brisk, for this area and time of year, 48 degrees. Light wind and not a cloud in the sky. Looks like I will be doing yard work today.....my wife mentioned it would be a good idea if I did. So out into the pollen I go. Have a good one.

at 8:30AM its 44 degrees on a beautiful morning in central NC .... they are calling for a high today of 80

Snowing heavily in CT right now. I cancelled an early morning dental cleaning appointment. Good thing, too. The traffic report is filled with roads along my route that are clogged with multiple spin outs and overturns. It's a good morning to watch the birds...
