I got an e-mail from Henry today about these two models. Really just Big Boy rifles and carbines with pistol grip stocks.....BUT....a couple new calibers for the blued rifle....35 Rem and .38/55 They've offered those rounds previously in the brass rifle which I personally have no interest in. The carbine is offered with a threaded muzzle and is chambered in the usual cartridges along with the .360.

I jumped on the .360 bandwagon last year with both an X Model and a single shot. If the .35 Rem and .38/55 were available in blued guns when the .360 came out there would be one in the safe now and I might never have bothered with the buckhammer. My X Model .360 is a fine and good shooting rifle but just a bit too heavy for a walking around hunting rifle. My .360 single is a dedicated mid range cast bullet shooter that is loaded to about .357 max performance and it's a very accurate little jewel. Now the .360 is going to be be available in a blued 16" carbine with a pistol grip?

Don't know that I will but it's getting painfully obvious that Henry isn't going to honor my request for a .41 mag side gate.

Well that’s not good news for me as I prefer a pistol grip stock. Gonna have to go take a look…….

I agree on the 35 and 38-55 should be offeed in their bbs series, they're hunting calibers, for Christ sakes. But, they're too busy catering to the young ones and don't care about Real hunters.
And, don't get me started on the carvedup forearm with Henry plastered on in it. Hell, one look and most any levegun enthusiast can take quick glance and can tell it's not a Marlin or Winchester rifle.

I'd be curious to know how many 41's have been produced and sold.

Darn nice looking rifle in my opinion. This is the protector carbine H9 in either .30/30 or .360. I don't know what the distortion is all about.

It's a known bug. The 3rd party software extension that does the posting doesn't always get the aspect ratio correct.

I saw a video from the Shot Show showing a .223 caliber with some talk about some pretty impressive accuracy. I’ve always been a .223 fan boy so that appeals to me. No actual “need or use” for it. But I’m all set up with brass, dies, bullets and powder so……

While I don't particularly care for the appearance of that rifle I can see a whole lot of utility. The 18" barrel is a realistic practical minimum for a .223. The pic rail and adjustable cheekpiece would simplify scoping. At 6.2 lbs I could picture hanging a Harris swivel bipod on it and mounting a 4X12 Leupold, having a roll up shooters mat under my arm, a backpack with a couple jugs of water, a couple protein bars and a few hundred rounds of ammo.....and then wreaking havoc across a certain 1000+ acre prairie dog town I know of near Broadus Montana...
