Longmire on Netflix

Post by dasmoeturhead » Sat Dec 10, 2016 10:09 am

I finally got netflix, and to my surprise they have the complete Longmire series. I was watching season 5, and Jacob Nighthorse gave Cady Longmire an original Henry 44-40. What a beauty.
During our travels in our 5th wheel we stayed in Buffalo Wyoming where Longmire was supposed to take place. We actually went to Longmire days there in Buffalo in 2014. What a treat. Got the Longmire drink cup to prove it
Haha.

It's a great show. What did they have at the Longmire days?

Your typical, small town festival stuff, car show, street dance, native music, actor meet and greet, book signings and whatnot. Not sure if there going to have it again, but there was talk of having it in 2017. Since the show ended , not sure about that. If your in that area check it out. We also liked the town of Greybull. Beautiful country. We'll be back someday. I can't get enough of that area. Next time I'll have my Henry rifle with me :-)>

We've binge watched five seasons and are now waiting for the sixth and final season to be released. Great television.

Hahaha, that's exactly what we are doing. Hate to see it go by so fast. I've got new hope now in season six. Thanks for letting me know.

SPOILER ALERT to anyone that hasn't watched the rest of Longmire!

Cady uses the Henry Original in self defense when someone breaks into her business. She struggles to load the rifle because she can't find the loading gate. Eventually she figures it out... Pretty funny she never considered the fact her rifle didn't have a loading gate until under fire by an intruder.

It wouldn't take me more than 10 minutes after someone handed me one of those bad boys to be out shooting up all of my ammo stash enjoying that rifle!
