Winter is starting to arrive finally not that is good news. 27 this morning but the overnight snow predicted didn’t happen. We did get a pretty intense snow squall yesterday that made everything white for an hour or two. High today in the mid 30’s with teens for overnight lows for the next couple of days. No snow in sight until maybe next Friday. Yesterday’s short snowfall here did accumulate in the mountains and the ski resorts are dancing.

Sounds like you are in a heat spell like us. It’s currently 20F and will be -11F in two days.

Much better. We have up to a foot in the forecast. Then sub-zero temps.

Fog/Mist, 34°F, Humidity 100%
Wind Speed N 12 mph
Barometer 29.75 in
Dewpoint 34°F
Visibility 4.00 mi
Snow, possibly mixed with rain, becoming all snow after 11am. The snow could be heavy at times. Widespread blowing snow, mainly after 2pm. Areas of fog before 11am. Temperature falling to around 15 by 5pm. Breezy, with a northwest wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to 20 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 3 to 7 inches possible.

Yikes, the big problem will be the wind and blowing snow.
Carol will insist of course that we go to church this morning.
