Pretty picture. No snow here but another rainy day. High in 40's. Not complaining, we need the rain.

We have a 'pineapple express' blowing in from the SW originating from the tropics.
42' raining with some wind. Maybe 57' later. Rest of this week, daytime/nighttime temps, upper 50's to low 50's.

Not summer here either but 98.5 at 6pm can’t be pleasant. .
You get used to it, but considering early in the week max temp wasnt getting out of the 50's a bit of a shock to the system.
Have gone from the heater on Tuesday morning when it was 34 to the air-conditioning running flat out Friday when our official maximum was 103.

44 this morning and probably not getting past 50 today. Spotty showers predicted. Sitting here drinking my tea listening for a gun shot. Granddaughter first morning in deer blind behind my house.

34 now and it won’t get out of the 30’s again today. Haven’t seen 40 for several days but haven’t seen 20 either thankfully. We had a pretty heavy snow storm yesterday but is was pretty wet and didn’t amount to much accumulation. My brother just happened to be here in Deer Park yesterday and he commented to me about the snow. He lives in Spokane which gets lots of snow but not like here. Wet for the next several days but Mags Pineapple Express will head here after it leaves his place.

My son is coming over this morning to help me knock out a temporary wood storage rack. I don’t have enough firewood to get thru the season so I bought a half ton of presto logs to supplement. I don’t want to store them out in my wood shed, I think they may absorb moisture. So we’ll put the rack in the garage. Here’s a pic of the one he built for his place, I won’t be painting the blocks or burning the wood like he did.

36 at 10AM with a predicted high reaching 45 before dropping back to an overnight low of 28 .... mostly cloudy/dreary with nothing related to weather would lead someone to want to get out and about today .... we plan to camp with our club this coming long weekend .... if they prove to be correct its going to be a bit warmer (bit meaning only a few degrees) ..... this will be our last club outing until sometime next spring
