40' and sunny this morning. Maybe 49' later. Possibility of our first freeze tonight. So today is the day to do the final draining of the irrigation lines.

Brrrrrrr Coop. No wonder you had such an adventure getting your plowing done.

Here it’s warm compared to Minnesota, 30 and still dark. High today is 32 so not much movement. Maybe some light snow with a small accumulation of an inch by tomorrow. My snow plow will stay in place.

It was bit the opposite here in the Pacific Northwest. We were having nice mild summer like temps well into fall. And then in a matter of days we'd switched to winter temps. Little time to acclimate, so it 'feels' very cold.

Dec 2025 is coming in with some pretty low temps ... 46 at 2PM which is as warm as it has gotten all day .... high probability that tomorrow will be pretty much of a washout with 7 hours of rain .... we just returned from Walmart where we picked up meds and groceries .... that's probably going to be the only time we leave home today

30 and snow that is just now stopping. Looks like we have a couple of inches that I may need to shovel off the concrete. Only the second snow this year and the first was less than this. High in the low 30’s but warming up this weekend to the 40’s with rain. Hope it stays snow in the mountains, while the fall rains have done great for out annual rainfall so far next year’s snowpack is dismal.

Taking the dogs to daycare today and making a day out of shopping for furniture. Sure wish my wife was capable of making a decision…..if it were up to me we would have furniture bought and in place by now.
