Got a shot of this guy. He was captured on the front glass of a Toyota pickup.

It's a windshield viper.

Great shots, CH. Love the Black and whites, but the color and composition on 0396 is amazing!!! Wow!

The flamingos are probably my favorite subjects at the zoo. If you you go straight to their pen when the zoo opens, you get some great sunlight peeking through the trees and highlighting some of the birds.

I've been more focused on good lighting conditions lately. Not that I ignore other elements, but lighting seems to separate the good from the best images for me.

Found an old camera in the woods the other day. This was the last image on the card.

And no, I didn't Photoshop the eyes red. Actually, those are red spots on the wings that happened to line up right to look like red eyes. Anyway, it's spooky looking.

This is not one of your photos? Large aperture, I'm guessing. Love the lighting. Too bad the moth isn't in focus, too.

It is one of my photos. The story is just a joke. The Pup looked at it and said it looked like the last picture on the roll. Yes, the butterfly is out of focus. I only like it because of the "red eye" effect, and the spooky look it has.

Yes, it was taken at F/6.7, 1/2 stop down from maximum. I grabbed it as the butterfly was either just landing, or taking off, and the camera grabbed the flower for focus. The lighting was what drew me to this. It was some flowers under magnolia bushes, with the sun peeking through.

Here is another in the series, with the background lightened up a bit, which seemed a bit more appropriated for this subject. I looked up the originals and this was the next one, so I believe it's after the "red eye" landed.
