Everything (cache/cookies, etc) is automatically deleted when I close the browser.

I changed my HRF Bookmark/Favorite from https://www.henryrifleforums.com to https://www.henryrifleforums.com/ucp.php?mode=login

Adding the pink. It goes right to the login page, bypassing the 'banned' page.

I have been banned for a few days. At first, on my omputer and phone. I connected my computer to a different WiFi, and I was able to access the site. Yet, still not with my phone. Now, I am able to access the site with my phone. I am wondering if the site may be a target of a cyber attack?

May seem odd; yet my club's was getting inundated with request. So much so that it was causing other sites being hosted by the provider to be impacted. The hosting service was a local. However, why would a small town club be of interest to the point of denying users access to the site? Anyway, we moved the site. Now, so good so far.

There are automated BOTs that troll for vulnerable websites so that they can create accounts there to spam them with ads. The automated BOTS have no awareness of small town websites. They spam whatever they can find.

May be. But, I was not the only one who can to that conclusion. Others, who family members get paid for a living in cyber security, came to the same conclusion. It seem odd to use resources to deny access to a small town club's site. We were experiencing so many request, that our site was limited (by the provider) to accessing one of about 10 pages. In addition, the hosting service host at least 25 other sites. What would make our site more attracted to the BOTS than the others? One would think that the BOTS would not discriminate among the sites. Yet, requests to our site were limiting response time for the other sites. It could be a coincidence. But now, it has not been an issue. And, that has been about 6 months ago now. Nevertheless, it was just a thought.

Just noticed that I am not getting the "banned" message anymore. I have been able to log in despite the message, but now I'm not seeing it.

I am back. I had the message and could not log in. I am on a Mac and apple phone. I too was thinking the site may have been hacked.
Thanks to whoever fixed my problem.😄

I have been getting the banned message for 3 or 4 days and could not log in at all. Checked every day with no luck.
Today, no message and I was able to log in without a problem.

When it comes to computers, I am pretty clueless.
