Hey, I’m back again, hope to stay around this time….

47 this morning, I prepped a fire in the stove last night and didn’t even light it this morning, too warm. Funny, we had a painter in for two days last week and flooring guys in for three days this week. I didn’t use the stove while they were here and was looking forward to a nice fire today. Oh well, we have some cold temps coming next week. We’ve had lots of rain for the last couple of weeks and are getting out of our drought conditions. In fact we are within 1.5” of normal or average rainfall. That’s still a larger number percentage wise as average to date rain is only 12”. Happy for anything.

Speaking of flooring, we had the house (less one bedroom) re-floored with LVP vinyl. We had LVP before in the great room, laundry, both bathrooms and the rest was carpet. It’s looking great less the base trim. The installer took it home this weekend and is changing it from a dark stain to a nice bright white paint. So while the job is looking great it still doesn’t have that finished look.

Okay, here’s my first attempt at attaching a pic since the HRF “shutdown”.

Hatch are trying with your phone or tablet. If your iphone is set to high efficiency it probably is that. It needs to be JPG to be accepted. You can send it to your mac and change it there or you can change the settings for your camera on your iphone to most compatible in the general settings under camera then go to format

Fair, 52°F, Humidity 72%
Wind Speed NW 14 G 18 mph
Barometer 29.68 in
Dewpoint 43°F
Visibility 10.00 mi
Sunny, with a temperature falling to around 47 by 5pm.
Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
Summer is over I guess, but I'm ready now for Winter. I got all the leaves blown into the woods,
and all the equipment put away and ready for snow plowing.
We went to the Yellow Ribbon Banquet last night and I was asked to help present the colors. I had to
wear the full dress uniform of the VFW and along with three others we marched to colors to the stage,
went to Present Arms while they played the anthem, the pledge, and then we set the flags and joined
our wives to watch the show. The banquet was over booked and there were over 330 folks in attendance.
The food and entertainment were excellent.

47 earlier this morning with high reaching low 80's. Looks like a nice day. It's dry. We could use some rain.
Is anyone else having problems posting. I been trying to send this several times, but it kept telling me I had to login to post. But when I backed out it still showed me logged in. Could it be because I haven't been on here for a while.

There have been and still are some issues with the forum. Dave is working on getting them resolved. Hang in there GW.
