Mags says his ip is banned.

Took too long to type this and got logged out the first time.

This is what I'm using to get around the blockage. eMail this to people if you have their email address or screenshot it and text the picture to them if you have their phone number. Proton Free VPN limits you to five countries free (you don't get to choose outside of those 5, I let it auto choose). Which I think for our purposes is enough.

https://protonvpn.com
Accept or reject the cookies popup.
Click on 'Get Proton VPN'
Click 'Get Proton Free'
Click 'Continue with Free'
Go through the steps to create an account.
You'll then have a choice to download and install for your device type (Windows, Mac, Android....)
Then install. It should auto start.
To get back to local IP address's you'll want to turn off VPN.
For Windows, you'll find the purple VPN icon in the lower right of the bottom toolbar.
You might need to "show hidden icons" to see it.
Click on the icon.
A popup window appears. In the lower right of that window, click exit.

Sorry that some are having such problems. I've personally seen a few glitches and yes, the forum IS lacking a few old attributes that we all enjoyed and now miss. I can only hope that Dave can get it all resolved when he has time to do so.
Wish there was something I/we could do.

He and anyone that is locked out should be able to read the content here just as any other visitor.
So by even posting it here should help those members.
Thanks for the info Mags.

VPN this morning started out with IP from the US and Canada. I don't recall from which cities. I was blocked in both regions. This session is through the Netherlands.

You're welcome. But, everyone (members and visitors) who are affected by the IP regions ban will see the IP banned message and can get no further. The top part of the forums webpage is visible as is the orange announcement bar, then the banned message. That's it. Access to the topics index is blocked.

This is as far as anyone can get. Clicking on 'Board Index' just repeats the banned message.
