Maybe you should let Andy handle it Dave and tell Barney to take a break

I am missing about a month's worth of posts, will wait and see if they can be recovered.
I'm retired, I can be patient. ;)
After years of Government Service, I certainly understand IT issues and their chain of problems.
"Well, we fixed that one, but now when you do this... it's doing this, we are ON it."
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

This morning I’m not seeing any warning issues anywhere and everything seems normal. I do miss the like button but have learned to put a heart in a reply instead. I see others doing that also.
The heart in a reply actually feels more personal, more thoughtful, showing some effort went into posting your 'like'.

I agree. Things are more perky this morning and feels back to normal. Thank You!

Couple of issues I see that remain.
We lost a chunk of posts from Oct 8 up to I think Oct 21 as well as a chuck of new members.
The search function so far will only search back a few months instead of for all time.
I guess that was 3.

I'm working on the recovery issue and backing up the forum next. First was the security issue. That is fixed.

Funny thing how these computers work. Besides pushing buttons, if you throw enough money at it, problems start to go away. (My arm is getting tired from throwing :D   )

I appreciate the offers of assistance, but I still have enough to throw, just have to rest the arm.
Some days I'm Andy, most days I'm Barney........

Thank you for everything you are doing. I do like this forum and miss having it available sometimes. This is a good group of people.
There should be a heart here but I am still working on it :D

Just double finger tap your mouse pad in this square where I am typing and it will pull up a window that has emojis at the top of the list

Nope. The only emojis I can get are on the Full Editor & Preview option and there are no hearts available.
