Maybe you just need a bigger safe.

Yup, another, bigger safe.
If the wife says, "Don't you have enough guns?"
You can counter with, "Let's look at your shoes/purses..."

To be fair, Miss T never cares, she says I earned my Hobby. She doesn't do fancy shoes and purses. ;) she has enough sewing/quilting supplies to last three lifetimes. The previous owners here's wife had a walk in closet with floor to ceiling shelves on three walls, nothing but shoes.
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Been there so bought a second safe. Now I have sold off many guns including my Marlin collection so I have room to spare. As much as I get out to shoot these days I should sell off more. Washington State passed a law requiring any gun purchaser to have a permit. Getting this permit is going to be a pain as it requires classroom and maybe range training and there is very little available at this time. Law takes effect next year and I’m thinking about selling some while Washington residents can still buy one.

Barney had one bullet in his shirt pocket. Dave is fortunate to have 3.

If I had one more rifle, when I open the door to the safe it would fall out.

My 24 ct. safe let me know when it was full. There are a few other things in there as well. I'm done buying guns. Don't have a lot, but I've got what I need. :)

There is Cheyenne WY or there-abouts somewhat North of where you're at. Maybe not too far away for your wife?

Yup that thought has been addressed Mags. But we would be in the same kind of situation in one way and that is not being around many people our age. It would solve the antigun policy as Wyoming is like Texas. My thought is if Im going to make the effort to move Im going to move to an area where we have established many friendships

    Isn't guns falling out of a safe gun abuse? They could get damaged or broken. Then, it may just be a big paper weight. May be worse with a loaded firearm. Might be time to pass some on to heirs?

I picked up my Henry last night. I told the FFL that might not pass the FBI check. He said what’s up I said the Female Boss In charge said I have enough guns! I said did you remember you gave me a hundred bucks towards it? She oh you’re right so it’s ok, lol!
