I got back from Milwaukee to find my house 59 degrees inside. I guess summer is over.

Morning, 60° going only to 71° today. Rained overnight a little, but every little bit helps. It's been pretty dry.
Still just sittin here in the cave sippin coffee and thinking about burning up some 3 5 7 ammo here in a little bit.

Glad you're getting some rain if you need it Randy.
Don't need it at all here. The whole summer was mostly a wash-out. Way too much.

54 earlier today. I must be conditioned to the hot weather we’ve been suffering lately as when I went out on the patio for a cup of coffee I had to go back inside and put a light sweatshirt on. Either that or I’m becoming a wuss. Heavy smoke again today which will keep the temp down. 90 is the forecast but I doubt we’ll see anything above the low 80’s.

Took advantage of the cool weather and finished splitting what firewood I have. Won’t be enough for this winter so I may have to buy some. That will be a first for me as I always get enough off my place and from neighbors who don’t heat with wood to get by. I have five full trees cut into logs for next year but they are too green to burn this year.

I have a 3 cord pile I need to start stacking. I buy it. It's been a long while since we thinned, cut and chopped our own. We have the property park like now so the only big cuts I do now and then is when a tree dies.

61' and cloudy. Expected to be cloudy all day. Maybe 75' later. Rain yesterday wasn't even a spit. Literally just a few random drops that landed on my arms. Still calling for rain Mon and Tues.

I built a fire in the oddy yesterday. The gang is coming over after church today and we are watching the Packers beat the Lions. It frosted in some areas. I think my low was 35F.
