Having a gin and tonic tonight before some mexican food that the wife has prepared and yes it has beans in it. The song by Tracy Lawerence plays in my head.

Well shucks BigAl, I didn’t get the opportunity to tip a Gin and tonic to you (too much driving required) but I did get to enjoy a local craft beer sitting on the shore of the marina in Sandpoint Idaho. Sandpoint is a resort town that’s way too trendy for my tastes but our family from California loves it so we indulge them. I’d much rather be sitting up at Lake Roosevelt in my lawn chair enjoying a drink. A lawn chair in a National Park Service campground is more our style.

Well, I celebrated by a fire with a couple of the usual Black and Tan's. Was a very nice evening for sure with the cooler temp.

After a busy day prepping the RV for our Monday departure to the lake I’m enjoying a drink on the patio. I’m having my summer staple gin and tonic and Mrs hatchdog is enjoying a vodka seven with a splash of maraschino cherry juice. Got some music playing and we’re enjoying the shade. :D

A toast to BRM and his missus for their 45th! :D

We were enjoying the Blue Grass Music under the trees last night when the Lovely Mrs. Cooperhawk handed me a large US Army stamped insulated cup with Gin and Ice. I had not expected that and was surprised. She surprises me a lot.
A good time was had by all.
