Good morning, got a day off. So I rode the 4-wheeler down to the watershed lake and watched the sun come up over the trees.

I'm going to a Vet's coffee and doughnuts this morning and then getting the Journey
fueled up and washed this afternoon. We leave for our Blue Grass Festival Thursday morning.
The Gas Company came out yesterday and finished cleaning up the storm damage from last
week. There was a large Oak tree laying across our 1000 gallon propane tank. I had cleaned up
most of the debris around it, but I didn't want to mess with that tank. It's their tank.

53 this morning. Woke up way too early (4:00) and sat on the patio for a while. Looking at the stars I realized I hadn’t seen stars for a while. These long days of summer make star gazing hard for an early sleeper like me. High today around 80 and we have a slight chance of rain tomorrow and a better chance with possible thunder storms on Thursday. It’s supposed to get hot again next week just in time for us to be at the lake. Too hot for comfort but I guess it it’s hot the lake is a good place to be.

Driving over to the east side of the state to a big city: granddaughter has an appointment with a specialist in her condition. This is a physical so she can play varsity volleyball this coming fall. Everyone have a great day!

P.S. I haven’t done an update for a while; she hasn’t had an episode for over 9 months. She hasn’t lost weight and maintains but hasn’t gained any weight. She does have a summer job and is learning how to drive.

54' and sunny with some clouds this morning. Maybe 82' later. Good chance of rain overnight and tomorrow. Couple of cool days after that and then high 90's expected for the weekend, continuing at least into Monday.

Water line spliced late yesterday after a nap and trip to the store for the splice part. Hole in the ground will remain open for a couple of days to make sure the splice holds. It was tough to dig out to begin with, through the gravel at the edge of the driveway. I'll close the hole with clean dirt to cushion the splice and make it easier to dig out later if needed.

54 and overcast today and maybe some light rain later this afternoon. And possible thunderstorms tomorrow. High only around 75.

Today’s Mrs. Hatchdogs birthday, she sure is getting old. She wants me to take her to the Mongolian BBQ for dinner and then back home for drinks on the patio. I’m not much for Mongolian BBQ but I’m great with drinks on the patio.
