^^^^^^^^^ nice family day in the pool.
55 with partly cloudy skies this morning. High should see 90 or so and warmer the next three days. Cooler after that with highs in the 80’s. Kids and grandkids are coming up on Wed and have rented a place on Lake Pend Orielle. We will be taking the boat up there for tubing fun and maybe an evening trip across the water for dinner.
More chores today, spent yesterday doing nothing. We were tired after our late night out. Old folks for sure.

81 F going to around 90. It was very humid last night. We got rain on Sunday, that helped the garden.
Coffee in the Henry mug this morning.
Plans to resume staining the barn are on hold due to the warm temps. I'll likely weed the garden instead.
I hope you all enjoy the day.

57 this morning with blue skies as far as I can see, not a cloud in sight. Hot today, mid 90’s with the same for the next two days. A nice cool down after that with highs in the 80’s. We’re still in a drought condition and it’s just a tinder box out there ready to explode. Thankfully no winds in the extended forecast.
Today is run around day and mow the lawn day. Dogs are going to doggy daycare but will come home early because of the heat. No A/C at doggy daycare but the owner has a pool and sprays the dogs with a hose. I’m sure they love it.

Highs will be in the 70’s for the next ten days and lows in the 50’s with one low of 49. I’m glad it’s cooler as I’ve been working outside. It’s just after 7 am and I’ll be heading out to work as soon as I post this. I usually stop somewhere around 2 pm as it gets too hot.

A warm one this morning at 65. Partly cloudy with a high in the mid 90’s expected. Hot again tomorrow with dry lightning forecast. Not what we need in this very dry area. Kids/grandkids are arriving late tonight and heading directly to the cabin they rented on a nearby big lake. We’re taking the boat up tomorrow and if the storm hits we will not be on the water. It’s a big lake that gets very ugly in a storm. It’s so deep that the Navy used it for submarine training durning WW II. The Navy used to have a big facility there named Farragut. Now it’s a beautiful state park.
Today however it’s a nice stroll on a golf course. Gonna be hot but we are starting at 9:00 so will be off the course and in the air conditioned clubhouse enjoying a cold beer when the heat of the day is about.

interesting morning .... 91 with a ReelFeel of 111 at 2PM .... "Extremely Humid" .... temp expected to rise another degree before dropping back to an overnight low of 75 .... no rain called for today but it should get interesting tomorrow when "heavy thunderstorms in the afternoon that can bring flash flooding and localized damaging wind gusts" .... they still forecast that today will be the last in the 90's for at least the coming week .... we had a crew come by and replace our home's largest window .... the bad one came with 2 panes of glass with Argon Gas between them .... the Argon had leaked out and that window, which faces almost due south, has been passing considerable heat into our home .... we can already tell a considerable difference

66 and sunny with a high in the mid 90’s expected once again. We had a short but powerful thunderstorm last night just before dusk. Lots of lightning with one blast very close. This was our pup’s first experience with a nearby storm and he did fine. Other than that one close blast that scared him, the older dog and my wife and I. I was listening to the scanner and watching my wildfire app and several fires started. Thankfully they all got knocked down quickly.
Heading to the lake today with a forecast of scattered thunderstorms later this afternoon. I’ll be keeping a sharp eye on the sky.

Sunny, with a high near 76.
East wind around 5 mph.
Areas of smoke after 9am.
I worked all day yesterday removing downed trees from the front yard
from the last storm, and then clearing the debris from the driveway.
I still have more to do today.
Man, half of Canada must be on fire for the amount of smoke we have.

82 with RealFeel of 98 at 11AM .... the latest forecast calls for a shower in spots late this morning followed by heavy t-storms this afternoon; thunderstorms can bring flash flooding and localized damaging wind gusts .... they say it will reach 90 later today before dropping back to 72 overnight .... today is the last time our high is forecasted to reach 90 through August 14 .... we just returned from a productive meeting with our insurance agent .... with us dropping our Freightliner and having a new truck on order, a review was very much in order
