The Adult Evening Beverage

I am hoping to have a cold one later on today also. So far, I have been hanging around the house, waiting for people to check out my A/C. I suppose to have a leak in an evaporator coil. The system is still under warranty for parts but not labor.

I have gotten one estimate for $900 and another for $2,600, really. I am still waiting on a third estimate. And, someone is looking at the system now. Hopefully, he will provide a more reasonable estimate.

Maker's Mark on the deck this PM. I mowed and bladed driveway all afternoon so I earned it.

I am currently enjoying a Miller High Life brewed by the Shell Brewing Company of New Ulm Minnesota. They have taken
over the recipe and I am happy.
The Mayo Clinic really worked me over today. I have red spots and patches all over my face and back where they removed
precancerous and some cancerous spots. I'm not pretty anymore.
I'm a Vietnam vet and the presiding Dermatologist was a very nice looking young lady from Hanoi. She said, "Yup, I'm a
Commie. She was very nice and competent.

I picked up a 12 pack of Miller High Life a bit ago to take golfing. I enjoyed sharing with my golf buddies saying, “ who’s ready for the Champagne of Beers”. Nothing better than a cold beer on a hot golf course.

High Life is good beer. One of my favorites.

I’m sitting here in camp looking out at the still waters of Lake Roosevelt and trying to not think about breaking camp and heading home. Last night we had our traditional “last night in camp” meal. Grilled New York steak, shrimp and grilled baked potatoes. And a gin and tonic or two of courses.

It was wonderful.
