Buffalo Wy.
Buffalo Wy.
All tied up in Buffalo Wy. We are at the KOA and its a really nice campground. I would definitely return. People are friendly and there is a creek not far from our spot. We also have a nice patio are with a fire pit and a gas grill. Ill be adding some pictures during our stay here. Here is a few of our campsite. Tomorrow I may look around for Sheriff Longmire.
Photo 2 is a path to the creek. Its not far from our spot and photo 3 is the sitting area at the end of the path with a fire pit and rocks to sit on. Temps here are very comfortable

Pics of the creek? Unrepentant fisherman here.
Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

Enjoy our little town. The wife and I are heading to the mountains for a few days.
You might want to check out Ft Phil Kearny just up the road. The Occidental Hotel here was a rocking place back in the Old west. Hole in the Wall is down by Kaycee, an outlaw hangout back in the day. Too bad Crazy Woman Canyon is closed right now, it’s a nice drive with a great trout stream.

We were in Wyoming once and that was to see Devil's Tower. It's one state that I would like to explore but
we never seem to have time. Maybe this fall.

I looked at Wyoming when I was looking for a place. I could easily live there.

Beautiful pics Al. Like others mentioned Wyoming is on our list too. Dipped thru the NE corner on our way to South Dakota some years ago but that’s it.
Re: Buffalo Wy.
Its a nice morning here in Buffalo and to fulfill CoFishers request before I even had my coffee to the creek I ventured. Here is a couple pics of the creek.

We are on main street eating breakfast. Rosies cafe. Im looking around at all the things that they have inside and Sir Henry would love it here. Lots of cool old stuff. Anyone remember the Pixy Stix and look close in the background at the gum. Clove , Black Jack and Beemans. Haven’t seen them in a while

I should mention that my family history is in Wyoming where my Grandmother and my mother were both born here. Mom in Cheyenne and Grandmother in Rock Springs so I do have a connection. After eating we roamed the streets of town. We like guns in Wyoming
And I found Longmires shop where the had lots of Longmire stuff including the books from the author
Then the cool old hotel downtown we didnt go in this time but may later

I love this area if you cant tell. My wife is also really enjoying it. I found some more signs that I thought were cool and we took a drive to Sheridan and on the way back a different route was taken. First pic is the sign in town and next pic is a pullout spot just before getting into story Wyoming. What a cool little town that was.
