New flag day

Post by Coach » Wed Jul 02, 2025 9:18 pm

My old flag looked like the flag in the background.

My sister decided it needed to be replaced.

She got me a 4x6. I will need to get some spinning connectors for it because I had to lower the bottom one below the spinning top half of my pole.

We have to replace ours about every couple months, the winds in Oklahoma beat them to death as y'all have seen in previous posts. I have to fly TWO flags. It's required.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

I should clarify my flag comment. I have no issue with Veterans flags or State flags.

My wife's best friend in VA flew Garden flags and changed them to match the holidays and seasons... but not on the poles like National Ensigns or Veteran's Flags. They were on short staffs and had flowers (spring) Pumpkins (Halloween) Turkey (Thanksgiving) Etc... But I know what y'all mean... :)
