54 and sunny today with 90 or so the expected high. Hotter tomorrow and Wednesday and then cooling down into the 80 for the rest of the week and weekend. 84 expected on the 4th of July which is a pretty nice temp, warm enough for the lake folks but not too hot for the city folks. I’m planing a golf outing for the 4th which will be my first time golfing in a month due to being too busy and then too sick.

Speaking of sick, my wife finally tested negative for Covid so yesterday I picked up my son from his friends place and brought him here. He expects to be here for 3-5 weeks or as long as his home health care continues. He’s living in his RV and the health care folks don’t like to do treatments in an RV. He is on a wound vacuum and he has no stitches or staples holding him together. The theory is this method lets the wound heal from the inside which I guess is better.

Good morning and our last full day here in central SC, we'll be heading towards home in the morning.
74° with 94% humidity, but with the 8 mph southerly it feels down right pleasant. Will be around 91so it says.

77 RealFeel of 86 at 9AM .... forecasted high 91 .... overnight low 73 with "showers and a thunderstorm; storms can bring flooding downpours and localized damaging wind gusts" .... Maureen has a medical appointment shortly after noon .... couple of days with highs in the 80's on tap but the 90's will return all too soon

56 and sunny this morning but it’s expected to be a hot one with a high of 98 here in Deer Park. That’s stupid hot for us. Thankfully the cooldown starts tomorrow with highs in the mid 80’s for the holiday weekend. Maybe a bit of a storm tomorrow but it’s expected to be dry. Winds and possible lightning could get ugly with wildfires. Fingers crossed to no lightning.

I’ll get out for a couple of hours this morning and straighten out the shop. No plans for beyond mid day as it will be too hot.

This morning 59' in N.California. Maybe 87' with afternoon thunderstorms. Red flag warning in effect because of dry conditions and possible lightning strikes.

101 here today. I've got a couple of chores to get done before it gets too hot and then I'm in the house for the rest of the day. Have some weed spraying I need to get done but it's been too windy, maybe I can get some done this evening when it cools off some.

They are constructing a large apartment building here and I noticed the workers quitting for the day when I drove by around 3pm yesterday. It's not located in a residential area so I imagine they could start very early. Most construction workers around here have gone to a 4 day work week, is that a nation wide practice now?
