I see that Joe cut some hay. Sat for a bit, no coyotes, but did watch a doe for a little while.

unsettling weather banner this morning deals with tomorrow ===> " Sizzling sunshine, hot and humid; caution advised if outside for extended periods of time" .... for today, 71 (RealFeel 79) at 8AM with a forecasted high of 91 this afternoon before dropping back to an overnight low of 70 .... somewhat surprised to not see any mention of thunderstorms for the next 6 days .... only thing on tap for today is a grocery run this morning

The high today is going to be 92F. What makes it hot is the 90% relative humidity.

No thunderstorms yesterday. Just moments of spit. 30 seconds of big drops occasionally.
This morning 51' and sorta raining. More like a heavy continuous coastal mist. Expecting more the same and 57' later.

It’s a cool overcast 50 out there maybe seeing the lower 70’s later. Then tomorrow the high could remain in the 50’s. Of course the weather folks are backing off on their prediction of some measurable rain this weekend to maybe a sprinkle here and there. That won’t do anything for our dry spell. It was reported this morning that for the last 30 days we have had 1% of the normal amount of rain.

Had a neighbor who had four trees cut down and the guy doing the cutting delivered the logs to me for firewood. Can’t wait to feel better so I can get this cut up.

IMG_6006.jpeg
You might feel better when you start but buy the time you get done I bet the gin and tonics will be freely flowing to reduce how you feel after cutting all that up.
Can’t wait for the pain and the gin and tonic relief! Cuz that means this Covid is gone.

48 this morning and overcast. Possible rain this afternoon so I sucked it up and went out and fertilized the yard this morning. Being sick (both of us) is seemed very cold in the house this morning so I turned the heat on. Here most of the US is under an excessive heat warning and I’m running my furnace. Good think I’m out of firewood or I would have built a fire in the stove.

Sure hope we get that rain today.

Not as hot here as the high will only be 92F. Last night the low was 74. Right now the RH is 78% and there is absolutely no breeze. Inside the house it’s 72F and the RH is 41%.

74 with a RealFeel of 84 at 7AM .... predicted high today 99 .... per Accuweather,

"HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING TO 10 AM EDT TUESDAY... ...EXTREME HEAT WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY MORNING THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING...

For the Heat Advisory, heat index values of 105 to 109 expected. For the Extreme Heat Watch, dangerously hot conditions with heat index values of 110 to 112 possible."

we had a plumber scheduled to come by today to repair the sink drains in our camper but that has been postponed until tomorrow .... nothing more on tap for today

48 again this morning for several days in a row now. It’s been real cool with highs in the 60’s is all. We got the rain this weekend, a nice soaker on Saturday and again last evening. In fact, it’s foggy around the area this morning, unusual for June. It’s supposed to warm up this week and by Sunday hitting 87.

My wife and I are still sick. This is day 11 for me and it’s sure getting old. I’m planning on testing this morning but I expect to still be positive for Covid based on how crappy I still feel as does my wife. Every time we think we are getting better we have a relapse to feeling bad again. Right now it’s mostly in my (and her) chest and sinuses.

I hope you both get well soon, Hatchdog. It's a dangerous virus. Also hoping your son's surgery and recovery went as planned and all's well with him.
