Hey, 48 seasons with a BL-22 has me beat. Very impressive. Back in the day when I was squirrel hunting, I mostly used a Marlin 39. Also a very fine squirrel rifle.

My hunting days are long over, but I still enjoy shooting a 22 lever gun loaded with CCI Quiet or CB Shorts in the backyard. Oh, I also shoot other 22s, but the lever guns are my favorite. In addition to the Marlin and the Browning, I also shoot a Winchester 9422. Each has something going for it.
Nice Rifle OP..........North Country Gal I like the Browning, Marlin and Winchester too. Browning grade II octagon, Marlin 1897T octagon, Win 9422 that I added laminate stocks
