52 with a beautiful sunrise. High in the mid 80’s later. Hot again tomorrow then a cool down leading to highs in the mid 70’s by the weekend. That will feel nice after these hot temps.

My son had his surgery yesterday. He was in pretty bad shape and I was told that getting himself to the hospital a week ago was critical. He had quite a bit of work done on his digestive region and is now on a Ileostomy bag. The surgeon told me this is better than a colectomy bag and should be a shorter time in place and a simpler surgery to reverse. The timing of this couldn’t be worse as he is in the process of a divorce and just sold and closed on his home. His plan was to live in the travel trailer he just purchased and set up on a friend’s property. Living up here in the summer and traveling south in the winter. He’s not going to be able to return the the RV life for a while so he plans to stay with us for now.

Prayers for your son. I can only imagine how difficult this is for him and for both of you to see him go through this.
Best wishes to all.

Glad to read he came through surgery successfully. Good of you to host him for his recovery.

63*, humid and a bit foggy here this morning. Coffee on the deck with the Pug. Not much on the docket for today. Might mow. Might not. We'll play it by ear.

Pretty warm and dry for your area Mags….

55 here this morning and we are expecting the hottest day of the year. 90’s for sure today and tomorrow then a cool down begins thankfully. Back to more seasonal temps in the upper 70’s for the highs.

I heading out here in a few minutes to do some mowing in a treed area that doesn’t get watered. I’m hoping this time of the morning there might be just a little bit of moisture in the ground to keep the dust down. Yea right
