Thanks Cate. As a co-owner with Dave we set the forum up to be friendly. With the help of our staff I think we have become just that. But most important are the members who actually make it a fun place to visit.Catherine wrote:Compliments to the forum owners, moderators and members.
This forum is a HAPPY forum and it makes me smile to come here.
Thanks to all of you.

Thanks, we are getting pounded with snow today, supposed to go all night and all tomorrow. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....hey that's a good line for a song...extra hay for the horse tonight, just finished chores and enjoying the evening inside looking out.Sir Henry wrote:Great picture!RanchRoper wrote:Took this pic just now. Neighbors that used to be across the street had horses. We miss them, but they really seemed to enjoy the cold and snow

Good morning everybody!
It's a lot more overcast than yesterday, but the sun is trying hard to drag itself out of bed. It needs to, too, 'cause it's 29* and frosty outside. At least it's nice and warm inside, and the tea tastes good.
I hope you all have a great day.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
I woke up to a dusting of snow all over. The temp is 36 now, so the snow will go.
Thanks for the kind words Cate. We wanted to make the place just like it is. My favorite place here is the back porch area we call the lounge. I thoroughly enjoy listening and talking about what makes everyone tick. I'm glad people like it here. It's a nice break from some of the world's less enjoyable things. I have called it a nice oasis on the internet on another forum.
Quick cup of coffee and then off to work.

We woke up to a dusting of snow, too. It's raining now, just a light shower, and the sun is expected to push temps into the 40s. We're planning to bake cookies this morning, then the afternoon will unfold its unknown plans. Enjoy the Monday!

We haven't received any snow yet in the low lands but its on the way. Steven's Pass currently has 48" on the ground while Snoqualmie only has 29".

After waking up yesterday to 4"+ and still snowing I was out twice performing snow removal and assisting neighbors with theirs.
It let up around 3 PM and temps held steady. I think half of it melted off overnight and we may have gotten around 8" total. Didn't confirm it with the weather dudes but sure is pretty out.

Good morning everybody!
It's a mild, overcast 38*, rising to whatever it feels like rising to, and I'll be taking the Henry pump action along to the indoor range shortly. That'll put a grin on my face!
I hope you all have a great day, and enjoy your morning poisons!

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
My weather is about like what you have Les. Going to possibly rain a bit and may also see some sun.
This thread has been long on weather for a while. I got a new coffee mug and am happily drinking my coffee out of it.

It's my new Star Trek mug. Since it's 50 years old, I got some new Star Trek items this year. I just ordered the mug when I got my son a gift on ThinkGeek.com. I also just got a Star Trek bathrobe. No pictures of that. (You are welcome)
Any other Trekkie's out there with mugs etc.....?
