Re: Taylor's new lever gun
I went to the Taylors website and they do state that it is their first model assembled using all made in the USA parts. It doesn’t say who the parts sources are.
Load on Sunday and Shoot all Week.......okay it's a Mare's Leg I will reload on Wednesday.

I like it. I'd love to see one in 40sw or 10mm. Something with a factory truncated cone for ammo

It doesn’t give a town or state. Henry does and I can drive to the building and confirm it exists. Without more information I find it suspect. In the early 2000’s Craftsman was importing sockets from China and then repackaging them in sets and on the package it said made in the USA because the harmonized code was changed. My Craftsman tools boxes says assembled in the USA with global materials.RetiredSeabee wrote: ↑Thu Jun 05, 2025 8:45 amI went to the Taylors website and they do state that it is their first model assembled using all made in the USA parts. Sometimes an item will be marked USA because the company is incorporated here but the product is made elsewhere. Don’t trust the advertising.

A couple of things.
First, Taylor's is located in Winchester, VA. You can drive there it just takes longer. They just don't see a reason to brag about where they are at.
Secondly, if their claim was untrue or misleading about USA made parts, someone would have surely sued them by now, given US suit hysteria.
I wouldn't buy the TC73, it is way outside my pocket book.

I don't divulge my contractors for Homesteader adapters either. Situation changes. Even basic design and technology can change. But this stuff sits on the Internet forever and is impossible to purge.

Re: Taylor's new lever gun
This is just one of dozens of videos on the made in the USA subject. I have bought things from Amazon as being made in the USA only to get the product with a made in China tag. It is happening all the time by large corporations.Mags wrote: ↑Thu Jun 05, 2025 1:02 pmA couple of things.

Ya, Amazon and others are a mess in many ways. Not just in country of origin.
If there is an issue with Taylor's, the FTC will take care of it. The video shows the FTC appears to be proactive in that regard casing down non-compliant companies.
