Yeah Al, I like Texas too but I'm not sure I want to spend the Summer
there. Gets a little warm for me.
Well gets cold in Minnesota in the winter to. So leave in July and August. You got those big wheels on that nice MH. It can take you to cooler or warmer
One more day here in the 80’s then back down to the 60’s and rain. Just hope it’s rain and not hail.

A cool sunny 41 this morning, we’re experiencing the same cold front as Mags spoke of above. High around 70. Our place up near the border may have had frost this morning. Getting warmer every day this week and mid 80’s by the weekend. Very nice!
We’re leaving for California early Thursday morning and my son was planning on staying here and taking care of the dogs. Unfortunately he ended up in the hospital yesterday with a burst diverticulitis. He’s staying for 48 hours on a strong antibiotic and tomorrow the surgeon will make a decision if surgery in needed. Poor him. Now we’re up in the air as to what we will do about the dogs. There’s a boarding kennel in Deer Park and we are planning on stopping in this morning and speaking with them about possibly boarding the dogs. Just another added cost to an already too expensive trip. &*^%$&

From what you have showed us in pictures you have a nice place. No matter how one feels about climate or anything else in the area they are in leaving something that is very nice like yours is hard to do. I hate the politics in this state and the new laws have made it worse. But at least I live in an area that have like minded people.

Our VFW Post received National Recognition and will be featured in

We were told that what put us over the edge was our program of
visiting assisted living and nursing homes to have coffee and doughnuts

Another cool morning at 42. Seems like the sun is struggling to pop thru a light cloud layer so it’s not as bright as normal. Still expecting a nice day with highs in the 70’s. Then the warm up begins with a steady increase in highs leading to 89 on Monday. Too warm too fast. No rain on the horizon.
Due to all the issues with my son and his possible surgery (he should find out this morning) we decided to postpone our trip to CA. So I put the garage sale work on hold and did a bunch of weed spraying on my gravel driveway. I’m way late on the spraying and it was looking pretty ugly out there.

Off to the big city this morning, my wife has a haircut and I will peruse the pawnshops looking for a bargain on something I don’t really need. Everyone have a great day!

Cloudy cool and a high of 59 today. Cant seem to get into a weather rythum around here so I can ride outside. Got about a 1/2 inch of rain overnight. Maybe tomorrow I can go shoot more ammo up and test out a rear adjustable sight I put on one of my CZ 9mm.

I also have a bunch of weed spraying I need to get done but it's been to windy the last few days. Needed a new sprayer and splurged on a battery powered one. Will make it a lot easier and faster not having to stop and hand pump it.
Seems well made, even has a metal wand. $100 with a 5 year warranty. Comparable hand pump sprayers were around $50.

That Kolbalt looks like a good unit Dave. I hate pumping too.
The warm up is starting with a nice 50 and sunny this morning. High should see the mid 70’s, a real pleasant day for sure.
Today’s adventures include some extensive weed whacking with both a walk behind and a hand held. Then a visit with my son in the hospital. He is supposed to hear about surgery or not tomorrow (Thursday). Ugh!
Yesterday my younger dog was in the backyard and started barking pretty seriously. I stepped outside to see what the commotion was about and saw this bull moose about 50’ from my fence. No camera of course. He wandered off heading in the direction of my trail so I grabbed my phone and followed him. Caught up to him pretty quickly and took some pics. I didn’t dare get any closer and this pic was taken with 5X zoom.

Nice day today, off to PT and lunch with my family, later have to go to big city for my annual cardio checkup and then another 30 miles to watch one of my granddaughter’s softball games. Everyone have a great day!

70* at 5am. Me and the Pug started our day on the back deck with a hot cup of coffee listening to the birds and watching the squirrels. Made some biscuits around 6. Had some sorghum on mine. Wife had strawberry jam on her's.
