Plink'&Grill'n

Post by Vaquero » Fri May 30, 2025 8:35 pm

Like it says, out on the deck grill'n sum yardbird, and said self.
You haven't pulled a trigger in a bit now, so I came in,grabed the little H001. Poured it full and walked down on the patio and went to smacking the 4"and 10" gongs.
Very rewarding hitting that 4 at the 46, 7 yds. it is.
Hope all are enjoying the last evening of the month.

Chicken was good and washed down with a nice cold Black and Tan. ;)

Now that's living. When the shooting is done make sure you get a Black and Tan to go with those yards birds.

A great way to unwind for sure, Being able to step out in the yard and shoot is an incredible blessing. I never take it for granted.

Got the coals going and thought I'd step up the plink'n to a different level.
A couple of 320+ gr pills pushed by some 2400.
At the 50 yds. It sure rings and swings that large gong quite well.

Ok, haven't been at home for a few weeks so the grillin and/or the plink'n has been happening.
But, that's all about started back up just in time for the holiday, and we have a brand new to the stable Winchester 94 Trapper in 357 to do so.

Haven't fired the grill up yet, but I have put 20 through this little bundle.
I'll give it an introduction in it's own thread a little later.
