I have 4 9mm pistols with me and a sausage egg biscuit in the works. Headed for the range with an ammo can full of misc. loads to burn up. Might not get them all shot up today but Im working on getting the loading room narrowed down. To many containers of misc. loads.

Now the weather is turning nice, but we got 3 and 1/2 inches of rain over the last
few days and we needed it. It seems to have all soaked into the woods quite nicely.
Yesterday my neighbor, (a retired farmer), and I drove 15 miles to a Kubota dealer and I
purchased a Kubota L3710 tractor I've had my eye on. They will repair some minor items
and deliver it next week. Here's my neighbor Howard with the tractor.

It has about 1100 hours on it and comes with a front mounted snow blower as well.
Now I plan to sell my two old Ford tractors.

A cold 48 right now with overcast and rain tracking in. Heading to the golf course in a couple of hours and I sure hope it warms up. Last cool rainy day with a nice weekend ahead.

talk about a beautiful day, today most certainly would fit that description .... 78 at 1PM with no wind and not a cloud in the sky .... the forecasted high today is 82 with it is supposed to drop back to 55 overnight .... morning medical appointment for Maureen .... next thing on tap for today is attending a grandson's Little League game tonight

41 and partly cloudy which an optimist like me will call partly sunny! Today is the beginning of several days of really nice weather other than possible overnight thunderstorms Sunday night. Shouldn’t have too much of a negative impact on all the holiday campers out there.

Yesterday’s golf game was highlighted by my buddy’s hole in one on the second hole. Our group of four hadn’t ever seen a hole in one let alone made one ourselves. Pretty special moment for sure.

Today is mowing day, heading to my wife’s cousins place in Deer Park to mow their lawn. They snowbird in CA and will be home tonight. Then my lawn and a bunch of trimming in the non lawn areas I mowed this week.

its been a busy but good day .... first up, Maureen had a Dermatologist appointment that required us to travel during Raleigh's morning rush hour traffic .... that's never a good thing .... got back home in time for lunch .... shortly thereafter, we had a friend of one of our son's come buy to test drive our Sportchassis .... next up, helping our youngest son get his boat hooked up along with our daughter's camper for a Memorial Day holiday camping trip to a local lake .... lastly, a drive to our local Chevy dealership where we are researching the purchase of our next truck .... high today was 77 with no rain .... they say the low tonight will be 49, that will be our lowest night temp this month .... next chance of rain shown for Sunday

today all I have to do is go and sell poppies for the VFW. It's hard to believe but our
post will make over $35,000.00 on poppies which we will put back into the community.
I team up with a VN Medic who had his ambulance blown up and wears a purple heart.

Think I’ll take the day and go through my gun safe and grab some rifles that desperately need cleaning and of course a visit with the Danes and maybe a nap, everyone have a great day!

after an overnight low of 49, its already reached 69 at 10:30AM .... forecasted high of 78 before falling back to an overnight low of 56 .... no rain called for today but if they are right we have a wet week ahead .... looking forward to taking our 9 year old grandson fishing .... this will be the first time I've let him cast something with hooks .... yep, my gear will stay in the truck ...

44 with a beautiful sunrise this morning. Was hot in the house overnight and I had to get up and open the window further. Not conditioned for warm weather yet and yesterday was a nice warm one. Nice again today with possible thunderstorms coming in overnight. At least that was the last word from the weather folks who are still in bed right now. Then a nice week of weather ahead.
