Overcast, 46°F, Humidity 71%
Wind Speed Calm
Barometer 30.09 in
Dewpoint 37°F
Sunny, with a high near 63.
Calm wind becoming west northwest around 5 mph.
One more cool day and then we are in the mid 70s for
the next week and on. Good, I have yard work to do.
I purchased a pair of BAOFENG UV-5R radios and now am
learning how to program them. I've already applied for the license.
They're a step up from CB and we plan to use them when traveling with
friends. It's a bit complicated programing them, but WTH, I need a new
challenge.

A warm 50 this morning with partly cloudy skies. We’re supposed to get some showers on and off today but the weather folks are still sleeping in so no confirmation of that. A cooler weekend after yesterday’s high of 80. Man that felt HOT. Gotta do my seasonal adjusting.

HOA meeting this morning and after that I’m planning on a nice relaxing day doing mostly nothing. I’ve had a busy week and I need a rest.

37 this morning but it should be warmer in downtown Spokane where the Bloomsday 12K runners are starting to line up. We call them Bloomies. While waiting for their turn to start the bloomies wear layers of clothes that they remove as they warm up or start running. It’s a tradition for them to throw the extra clothes into tree branches where later the clothes are recovered and giving to local charities.

Today I’m getting the motorhome out of the shop and will begin the summer-izing process. We’re leaving for a trip in a week. Heading to the Columbia River Gorge in an area an hour or two east of Portland Oregon.

well, from the size of his paws, the new pup is going to grow into a BIG DOG .... not a breed I'd of picked but he seems to be a good one .... heavy overnight rain along with a couple of more showers this morning have sure turned our grass green .... 69 at 2PM but I doubt it will reach our predicted high of 77 before dropping to 55 overnight .... the forecast for the rest of today is, "Cloudy with showers and thunderstorms, some heavy; thunderstorms can bring localized damaging wind gusts, hail and flooding downpours" .... that may well prove to be the case but there sure isn't anything on the radar that suggest it will be so

Thanks, got my Breeze-by pass all ready for pickup in Hood River. I opted for the license plate transponder for the motorhome as the windshield is covered with the cab over bunk. (Class C). The folks wouldn’t mail this type of transponder so I’ll have to stop and pick it up.

34 brisk degrees this morning under clear sunny skies. It’s supposed to warm up this week with a short cold front coming in Wed PM. That will lower the temp on Thursday but the rest of the week should be nice.

34 and sunny this morning. Just took a walk in the backyard and the grass is slightly crunchy and the roof has a light frost. 70 later which is going to make for a very nice day. Maybe a brief rain overnight on Wednesday but otherwise continued nice weather. Just saw on the news that we are 27% of normal for rain in the month of April and the wildfire warning are already starting. Could be an awful year.

Today I’m prepping for our trip next week including taking the Jeep in to the dealer for an oil change. I bought the lifetime oil change program which was a mistake as we don’t drive it much. The dealer will change the oil free every six months regardless of mileage driven so that will help.

A little warmer this morning at 40 and highs are expected to be in the 70’s. We got there yesterday and after the cool start it was a wonderful spring day. Leaving in an hour to play golf so I’m pretty happy with the forecast. Next week it’s supposed to be cool and showery, just in time for our trip.
