30 and a rising sun this morning. We should see the mid 50’s today. Some minor disturbances coming in for the weekend but nothing that will be an issue for Easter outings.

Playing golf today starting at 10:20 so we will enjoy the best part of the day out on the course.

Spending the day getting ready for tomorrow’s events. Baking crème puffs and Tiramisu cupcakes. Everyone have a nice day!

Happy you’re feeling better Coop but sorry for Carol. You have mentioned how much she enjoys entertaining so this must be a big disappointment to her (and you).

Here it’s 41 with a cold drizzly rain falling. It’s supposed to stop in a few hours which will hopefully make for better conditions for all the Easter egg hunts scheduled for today.

For me I plan to be inside the shop this morning doing some equipment maintenance then doing a major lawn mowing and clean up. I fertilized a week ago and it’s starting to “pop” as my wife likes to say.

Both of us value our family holidays and get togethers. She plans these events days ahead and loves to make all sorts of candies and appetizers for the kids to enjoy, to the effect that by the time the main meal is served, no one is hungry.
It was very hard for her to cancel it but she's still really sick.

51' with mixed sun/clouds. Little bit of pre-dawn rain. Supposed to be sunny mid afternoon to sunset.

39 right now, we had a beautiful sunrise but now the clouds are taking over. It’s supposed to be a cloudy day with some possible scattered rain later. No big Easter plans this year other than my wife wants to watch the old movie Ben-Hur. Can’t remember if I’ve ever seen it or not. It’s a 3.5 hour movie so I told her we need to start early as I sure do need my beauty sleep.

I drove her to the church where they broadcast Mass on an FM freq.
She declined communion so as not to get someone else sick. We came
home and she made some brunch and now she's sick again and gone
back to bed. I think maybe she overdid herself.

35 right now with a beautiful rising sun. Somewhere in the 50’s today with scattered showers but nothing much. Nice all week with maybe some rain this coming weekend. Freeze warning tonight with a predicted low of 27. Guess I had better unscrew the garden hoses from the house. This is why around here it’s understood not to plant anything before Mother’s Day.

We’re making a quick trip up to the property today. Last time we were there I couldn’t get the shop door unlocked. I believe the frost heave jammed the two deadbolts I have on the door. That was a month ago so hopefully the locks with work today. Sure hope so as the pest control company that services the place will be there tomorrow and will need to get inside to re-bait the mouse traps.
