Well Im about to crack open a Landshark cold beer. Im all tied up in Slayton Tx. We been here about 2 hours. It was a good day of travel with the wind pushing it makes the trailer truckin a lot easier. Currently about 80 deg here and windy.. Im headed here in a little bit to get some food to go. I think there might be a Rittenhouse rye poured tonight. Cheers

I managed to blade the driveway and do a bunch of odd jobs today, and I'm sore and tired.
I have a shot of Maker's Mark over ice with a water chaser. :D

Well, we finished a job around 2:30, I left there and went and picked up a couple things for a small job tomorrow.
Then went and looked at another job, came home, jumped on the mower and got most of the yard done.
One section is still too wet, came in ate and then off the the grandson's ballgame.
Not the happy ending as yesterday, got home about 30 mins ago and am now enjoying a cold B&T.
Bedtime shortly.

After a long hard day of getting my lawn prepped and fertilized before last nights rain (which didn’t happen) I rewarded myself with a couple of gin and tonics. A well earned reward if I may say so. :D

I somehow managed to get a cold. I haven't had a cold in ten years, but I do now, so I tried working in the shop
on Wednesday but finally gave up and went to my heating pad and recliner with a Maker's Mark.
Yesterday I spent the day in the recliner off and on and last evening did some more MM. I slept like a baby.
I feel better today.

Last night my wife went with some ladies from the community to a political fund raiser event over in Coeur d’alene ID. So the boys and I stayed home and guarded the home front. My reward was a pizza from the local Pizza Factory and a cold Sam Adams while watching the Masters golf tournament I had recorded earlier.

Been working around the yard today, flower beds and cut a few limbs off the big cedar in the front yard.
Had a fire most of the afternoon, now I'm just relaxing and enjoying another cold Black and Tan.

Good evening, the grandson and I went looking for coyotes this evening, no luck. He was startled by deer that had snuck up close.
We watched a couple hens cross the field probably got to within a 100 yds.. then spotted a big Tom down on the lower end about 400+ yds away.
Now we are enjoying a fire, he's sippin sweet tea and I of course am having a Black and Tan.
