Henry88, you really need to see Dances with Wolves if for no other reason the awesome South Dakota prairie scenes where much of the movie was filmed. I grew up in that kind of country and it always makes me homesick when I see the movie. Ranks as one of the great westerns of all time. Easily Costner's best movie.

Henry88, Dances With Wolves ( a person's name) is absolutely Costner's best movie as an Actor, but more than that for his dual-role as Director. It's an arguably great film that you will enjoy because of Costner and the writer, the cast, the location, the photography, the editing, and a character named Stands With A Fist.
