Winter is still sort of dragging its feet here too, but we have stuff in the greenhouse and have been planting around our new pond. Typical spring day here with snow in the passes overnight and sunny/cloudy/rainy and mid 50s today. Typical schizophrenic weather for spring here.

38' and sunny. We get more early morning light. The new owner of the Filbert orchard to the East removed all the trees to plant hay and clover. Without the trees the seclusion ambience is gone.

64 at 1PM on its way to 69 later this afternoon before falling back 46 overnight .... they say our temp could reach 90 over the weekend .... sure hope that doesn't happen .... first up this morning, medical appointment for Maureen .... from there we drove to Sam's where we started stocking up for our coming trip to South Dakota ....

We should have both stayed in the south.

Nope, I got homesick. I've been to two vets breakfasts and coffee and doughnuts since we came
back and visited old friends as well. I'm glad to be home even if it is raining and snowing.

Morning, 70 here this AM headed for the low to mid 80's.
Then the rain moves in this evening for a few days.
Went to the grandson's first ballgame of the year yesterday evening, started off close then they lost the handle.
Was still a good game.

At 30F it’s not terribly cold however the 40 mph wind is making it unbearable for even a few minutes.

35 around here with partly cloudy skies. It’s supposed to be dry most of the day with possible showers later this afternoon. More tomorrow then watch out, it’s going to be sunburn weather this weekend. Heading down to Lewiston Idaho (2 hours away) on Friday for golf. It’s usually around 10 degrees warmer there than here in the Spokane area.

Got a bunch of trees limbed yesterday but quit again due to a rainout. I’m working on a very steep slope covered with pine needles and it’s slick and more so when wet. Using a powered limb saw and my arms sure get fatigued as I’m reaching up as high as I can with the pole extended all the way out. Sure wish I was still in my 30’s.

65 at 11AM with it supposed to get up to 76 later today before falling back to 65 overnight .... next to no chance of rain today and only a 25% chance tomorrow .... they say we will probably get more rain over the weekend .... sure hope that proves to be correct, our pollen count has to be very high .... our local mobile RV repair fellow is at work on our camper and will also repair a few small items on our daughter's .... doubt he will get through today ....

High winds are blowing me on the hill. I suspect I’ll have a few downed trees. This picture was taken yesterday after the ice storm and before the wind.

40' not raining, bright light through thin cloud cover.

Heading down to Lewiston Idaho (2 hours away) on Friday for golf. It’s usually around 10 degrees warmer there than here in the Spokane area.

Enjoy Hatch! when I had an office in southern California five of us were flown by a supplier up to Lewiston for a weekend of golf at the Lewiston Golf and Country Club. Had a great time. You live in a beautiful area.
The supplier was Potlatch corp.

Good morning, had some pretty dandy storms throughout the night, but we survived. Woke up early to more rain, so I rolled over and got about another hours worth. Going rain all day they say. Taking the zero-turn to my buddies and see what's up. Starter or the selenoid one needs replacing. Will also change oil, filter and airfilter so it'll be ready when the yard drys up.

Thuty thutys huh. I have a Marlin 336 that I purchased new in
1957 and haven' shot in many years. I also have a Winchester
Model 94 in 32 Special that is also gathering dust in my safe.

I went into town this morning for an oil change. I didn’t see many downed trees. Actually the most I saw were on my own property. I’m going to have a lot of cleanup this spring.
