Thanks. That is what I think too. This is the way a squirrel runs or walks or jumps through the snow. None of the tracks are ever offset, always in a straight line.
I learned this in eighth grade when I started hunting rabbits and squirrels. I used to go out at night in our neighborhood when it was snowing and follow the rabbit tracks to see if I could find the rabbit. Great memories.
