we've had a beautiful but cold morning ... at 1:30PM the temp has reached 45 and may get up to 49 before it starts falling later this evening to an overnight low of 22 .... yesterday our camping club met for a meal at our local Cracker Barrel Restaurant .... when I eat at one of their restaurants I almost always order the same thing .... that being one of their breakfast that features 3 eggs which I order scrambled with cheese and a full slice of country ham .... this breakfast includes several other sides .... as the waitress handed me my plate she noticed that the eggs were nicely scrambled but without cheese .... I heard her say something about it bur didn't really pay much attention .... a few minutes later she returned with a plate that had 3 eggs scrambled, this time with cheese .... bottom line, I ate all 6 and thoroughly enjoyed it ... ;)

24F heading to 41 then dropping and Tuesday/Wednesday we are expecting 8” of snow. I have my doubts and think it will only be rain.

It’s official. The sun is rising north of Timms Hill.

Beautiful pic Gene and encouraging news about the location of the sunrise. We enjoy watching it move north too.

Here it’s 36 and misty which is causing the ground to be wet. We may see some sunshine today and temps in the 40’s. Our nice run of 50 - 60 degrees is on hiatus for a few days but expected back by the end of the week.

I have an appointment tomorrow at 8:30 to put new tires on the boat trailer and it’s a process to get it out of the shop. So I’ll do all that today so I can just jump in and go tomorrow. Once boating season returns I store it outside under the lean to so I can get it in and out easily.

37 at 8AM with a warming trend on the way .... predicted high for today 67 with it only falling back to 54 overnight ... only one night shown in the next 10 days with a temp below freezing (30 degrees on the 6th) .... tomorrow's forecast sounds rough, "heavy thunderstorm in the morning; otherwise, cloudy and windy; storms can bring flash flooding, damaging winds and even a tornado" .... no medical appointments today, Maureen has Physical Therapy tomorrow ....

30 with some light upper fog but maybe some sunshine later. Then rain coming in tonight but not much. Starting tomorrow we are returning to sunny and warm but the weatherman said that next week we could see a return of winter. What does he know, he’s new replacing the long timer who just retired.

Taking the boat to Les Schwab for new tires on the trailer this morning and hopefully I’ll have enough time before the rain to get it back into the shop. I have to pull the RV out to get the boat in and both are nice and clean and I hope they don’t get rained on and get dirty.

Good morning, windy as all get out here today, 47° when I woke, 45° now and will be dropping slowly all day.
Winds are 21-22 mph with gusts up to 33.
Better hold on to or tie your hat down good if going out today.

Coop said, “ Winter is back in Minnesota.”

And I reply, thankfully you’re not! :D

Good looking rigs Randy, that’s one fine picture.

31 and frosty here in the PNW but a nice day is expected with sunshine and temps in the upper 40’s and maybe 50. More of the same for the next several days but that dang weatherman keeps suggesting that winter may return next week. Gotta quit listening to that guy

Today we are expecting a couple of guys to install the new washer and dryer we bought from Costco. They were delivered last week but the guys who delivered didn’t get a work order to install. Figures. That’s what we get for buying from a big box store and not our local quality appliance store. We did save several hundred dollars but typically it’s at the cost of service. This will be the third trip to our home.

Notice there is not much snow on the roof and even bare places on the ground. Officially we have 5.5” with another 1.6” coming but the wind is causing 2’ drifts. When I walked out to take the picture I was post hiking up to my knees.
