For that type of shopping, not much pity. Now if it involved shoes, purses and clothes, that I would give you.
Good point Mags, putting it in that perspective for sure no pity needed. Lol!

23 this morning with a high around 30 expected. More snow coming in tonight and tomorrow with a prediction of 2-5”. Looks like once again the main part of the storm may be south of me so I’ll probably be on the low end of that prediction. Sorry for the folks in the Palouse (area south of Spokane) but not sorry for me.

Heading in to Costco this morning as our outing yesterday ran too long for our planned Costco stop. Had to get the dogs from doggie daycare before it closed. Speaking of doggie daycare, the folks who own it are heading to Florida today to take their kids to Disney World, Universal Studios and other fun in the sun. Good for them!

We made it to St. Charles, Mo by noon with light rain all the way. They tell us the storms are moving in
and it will be below freezing for the next three days so I guess we won't hook up the water. Just rough
camp it.

We have lots of relatives in the area so we'll be visiting them and hunkered down.

a very warm 65 degree morning at 9:15AM, today's high projected to be 67 .... a sever thunderstorm warning has just been issued for the next hour .... the weather radar really looks rough .... satellite TV signal is in and out.... power flicking off and on (right now its off) .... internet service just went off, switched to Hot Spot service over our phones.... while in our home we seldom hear the sound of rain, right now is one of those exceptions .... biggest thing on tap for today, family gathering this evening at a local Japanese Steakhouse to celebrate a 7 year old grandson's birthday

Good morning, Jim, could be part of the storm that came through here last night.
Pretty windy, had the house a creaking a bit, and some seriously heavy rains.
Had tornado warnings till around 10 pm.
But, we weathered it well enough, I've looked about the yard this AM and I see no damage or trees/limbs down.
Just going to be cold today and most of next week 33 earlier when I looked and only 36 for the high.
Guess it's another good day to load a little more.

27 and snowing this morning. We received 3” overnight and may get a few more today. Looks like some snow moving is in order later. High around 32 so it will stay snow.

Not much planned today other than watching the Daytona 500 and probably the SNL 50 year show special tonight. If it gets too political we’ll turn it off as SNL has lost the ability to pick on both sides of the aisle.

29 this morning, feels like a spring day out there  High is expected to be in the low 30’s and it’s nice to have turned the corner on the big chill. Got about 6” of snow yesterday, more than forecast. I did some blowing and shoveling that will need to be repeated today. I waited on the plowing and am glad I did. I’ll get that done today.

-18F this morning at the range, snowing too. Shot my Frontier caplock and rang some frozen steel gongs at 50-75 yds. Good to see normal winter here, and next week supposed to hit 50F and rain. :)

Lakeville, Mn.
-17°F
Sunny and cold, with a high near 1.
Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
Wind chill values as low as -28.

St Charles, Mo.
7°F
Snow
A high near 15.
Northeast wind 10 to 13 mph.

We think it's best to spend one more day here. The snowfall here
is not expected to be heavy but just south of us they predict six
to twelve inches today with gusty winds. We're cozy and warm here,
so why chance it. Besides, they have some really good BBQ here.
