38' and overcast. Little bit of rain overnight barely dampened things. Supposed to be colder this next week.

11 now with an unknown high as the news hasn’t started yet. Probably around 20 as it’s supposed to be sunny. Cold all week with another forecast for single digits this week. Didn’t happen last week and I hope it doesn’t this week. Going to the neighbors for the game and party. We do this every year and it’s always fun so expect that again today. I have no preference on who should win but one of our neighbors who will be there was born and raised in Kansas City so we’ll support him.

Superbowl Sunday dawned overcast, damp and drab .... around noon the sky cleared and hits reached a very comfortable 71 degrees .... they say the temp will rise another degree before falling back to 39 overnight .... this is predicted to be our last 70 degree high until well after the middle of this month .... they say tomorrow's high will be 26 degrees cooler than today's .... no special Superbowl plans, do plan to watch the game

Big change in weather for us over the weekend, after weeks of the temp hovering around 100 we had a storm and change come through sat afternoon. Not much rain about 1/4" but dropped temps into the high 70's in minutes,
Sunday didnt get out of the 80's and threatened storms all day before finally dropping a bit of rain around dark. Storms and rain most of the night a little over 1/2" in the gauge this morning.
Today isnt meant to get above mid 70's with 1/2-1" of rain predicted and at 9am the temp is only hovering around 60.

Good morning, a little different weather this coming week.
Mostly 40's for the highs, it's 33° here now and around 49° for the high.
While most were watching a foozeball I was reading, read nearly the last half of it.
I would take a break grab another cold and glance at fb.
Every time, bad call here, blind ref's there, over and over. Was hilarious, oh yeah, halftime SUCKED, 8-) but the fools watch the crap like a crack addict.
Hope whoever watched, that you enjoyed it.

Going to put a few more pages behind before I leave for the four letter-word.
Work. ;)

-1F with no clouds or wind. It’s a very quiet winter morning where I can hear a logging truck on SR86 a mile away.

Well those dang single digits finally found us. Yesterday it dropped to 9 for an hour or so and today I woke up to 4. Weatherman said we can expect winds of 20 mph so that’s going to make for some very uncomfortable wind chills. The dogs morning hike today will be delayed to the afternoon. Should warm up to around 20 and sunny.

No plans for today other than to keep the fire stoked. I’m getting low on firewood but next week we are supposed to see 40 so hopefully we will be turning the corners on spring.

It’s currently-13F with an 11 mph wind and 85% relative humidity. In addition there is a wind chill of -25 but, and I really wonder about this but, it says it feels warmer at -5F because of the humidity.

0 degrees currently with a high expected of 20. Another sunny day for us but by Friday it’s supposed to warm up and snow. The official Deer Park temp is -9. Heading into Spokane here in a couple of hours to hit the indoor (HEATED :D ) range. Plan is to fire first shots in my Ruger Sp101 327 and run a bunch of different SV 22lr in my S&W M/63 to check extraction. Think I’ll bring along my CZ-75 and confirm which ammo it eats and doesn’t eat. It doesn’t like my XTP reloads and I also want to run some Berrys plated flat points thru it too.

I’m always polite with them. It keeps them on the line. The object for me is to waste as much of their time as I can. Then they take me off the call list and when you are taken off by their choice you are really off the call list. I get calls about once every few months
