I didn't watch every episode during the different seasons, but the ones that I saw I always enjoyed. I thought that the acting was superb and the firearms were period accurate as best as I could tell.

I watched some of it but missed lots. I'm hoping Santa brings me the DVD's. It was filmed in Alberta, and my son was an extra in it. He was a Mormon guy riding in a wagon. Fun. Period costumes and firearms were pretty good from what I saw. The main character packed a Remington 1875 revolver. I think Uberti supplied the firearms for the show.

Haha...he's 23 now but this was a couple of years ago. He tried out, did the wardrobe fitting, spent the day on set and when it came time to film the wagon scene he jumped in the wagon with a few other guys like the director said. He met the show's bad guy "The Swede", and they told the extras they were not allowed to speak to the actor at all. "He's in character and will not engage in conversation.". So we all sit down one day last summer to watch the episode, and the wagon with our son in it is about a mile away in the distance rolling along the road.....HAHA. The people in it were so small they looked like specks. That's showbiz!
And yes the hanging was brutal!

How many seasons were there? I was hooked on the first two, then it was sporadic if at all. I haven't watched much television lately, the last year especially.
