Good morning, a little chilly out there, was 27° when I woke a couple hours ago and still is. ;)
Fees like 15 with the 16 mph breeze.
High of only 31.
Oh yeah, in the last few minutes we've got a few snow flurries.

32 and dark but I’ve been promised some sunshine to day. Well we’ll see about that  High in the mid 30’s.

Sympathies for all you folks getting hit hard with the storms, both the snow and ice hitting some areas and the cold hitting other areas.

for us, this has been another day heavily invested in medical appointments .... first up, we both had an appointment with the surgeon who replaced my right knee about 3 months ago and who is scheduled to replace Maureen's left knee in a couple of weeks .... have to admit that being able to schedule both appointments for the same time really was handy .... while my knee is healing and has come a long way, he wants me to have more physical therapy to deal with walking on uneven surfaces and for walking down stairs .... Maureen's appointment went well .... having been there, its easy for me to understand her having hurt long enough and bad enough to be looking forward to the replacement .... from there we had to travel to a different town to the hospital where she will be having the surgery for an appointment the the Anesthesiologist who will be handling her surgery .... the appointment went well and we were able to get through in time to pickup our oldest grandson from school in yet another town .... we are now back home on what has been a cold, rainy day .... today's high was supposed to be 44 but the highest I've seen has been 39 .... its supposed to drop to 25 overnight .... thankfully, the front has passed out of the state and no rain is supposed fall tomorrow

My Wife's knees are hurting her pretty bad but she won't even consider having surgery done. Not yet anyway.
We live in a three story house and I see her hobbling up and down the stairs every day and she will not complain. See,
if she does then we go see the Doctor.
I guess it's just a matter of time though.

Single digits yesterday, 15F today with lake effect snow blanketing half the state.
The snow isn't that bad till the wind kicks up and visibility goes away.
Coffee in the Mary Lou's News mug this morning.
Some lively music to help wake things up.
Around the house things today.

I hope you have a great day.

32 heading all the way up to 33 later  We may see some sun breaks this afternoon. Had some sun yesterday and that was fine! Getting colder starting this weekend but other than Friday no storms are expected. Today I’m planning on doing some outdoor burning and the fire will feel great.

another cold morning .... black ice early .... up to 36 at 11AM .... clear Carolina Blue Sky with a predicted high of 42 later this afternoon before dropping back to 22 overnight .... we were very fortunate to escape any serious issues with the black ice .... just north of us, reports are indicating they had considerably more ice to deal with .... shortly after noon I have to take Maureen over to the local Retina Clinic to get a shot in her right eye .... yep, getting a shot in the eye sounds terrible to me but she says it really isn't bad .. .. attending a grand kid's basketball game is on tap for this evening

10 F outside. It's snowing and is supposed to all day. There is almost two feet of light fluffy snow on the deck. Perhaps a little snow shoeing later.
This morning, coffee is with plain Jane.
Surprisingly, the driveway isn't full of snow, so I'm not planning to do anything with it.

I hope you all enjoy the day.

today's high was 39, a 20mph wind made it seem much cooler .... currently at 6:30pm it has already fallen to 31 with a predicted low of 21 .... the forecast for this weekend's storm front to take its frozen precip north of us has changed .... it now calls for us to get an inch or so of ice Friday night into Saturday morning .... it doesn't take much ice to cause a problem so that isn't happy news .... Maureen is baking cookies with our 8 year old grandson, happily the process is almost over ....

32 and dark but the forecast is for a dry but cloudy day and little increase in temperature unless the sun breaks out. Maybe a little snow tomorrow but nothing of note. Got a couple of inches yesterday which required only a little light shoveling for me. Still haven’t put the blade on the snowplow yet and if I don’t put it on this year that’s a win for sure.

Today I will complete my outdoor burning. Another check mark on the to do list.

From the other day

Morning, was 16° when I woke, we're up to 24 and should make 37, 38. A very slight 1 mph breeze.
I'll be headed out for some errands here in a few.
