34 and overcast with no snow for Christmas morning this year. However there’s a chance for Christmas night as we have a winter storm advisory for 2-5” by tomorrow mid day.

Nice calm day on tap with nothing to do but watch Christmas movies and eat prime rib. Yum! :D

33 with some snow on the ground but less than an inch. Very wet heavy snow in the tree branches and now we have 50 mph gusts predicted for this afternoon. Could be some tree breakage going on, hope not.

Glad I’m not traveling, the Cascade Mountain passes 3 hours to the west of me are expecting up to 4’ of snow and the Rocky Mountain passes 2 hours to the east of me are expecting up to 2’ of snow.

48'. High winds and a lot of rain last night. Great deal of tree debris down. Creek below the house has a hefty flow going. Some spotty power outages, but we're not affected.

Christmas has come and gone, most certainly hope everyone had a good one .... shortly before 10AM this morning we broke camp at our son's place and drove three miles back home .... our camper is now setup for the winter in our back yard where it is connected to 50 amp current and a 500 gallon tank of propane .... our next scheduled outing with it isn't until March .... between now and then it will server as our home during any power outages that might occur .... 49 under a mostly clear sky with it predicted to rise one more degree before dropping back to 35 overnight .... next sub freezing temps mention in our long range forecast aren't slated to be here until late next week

32 heading to 38 later. Rain/wet snow on and off all day and more of the same for the next several days. Maybe a break around new years with a couple of days with sun but colder temps. Hope so, I’m getting tired of the gloomy weather, bring on some sunshine. :D

Another day with nothing planned other than maybe a run into town for some supplies. A neighbor is hosting a holiday get together Saturday evening we’re attending. Should be fun.

Happy Holidays Everyone. We were at the coast for a week working and doing Christmas with my wife’s sister. It was fantastic to be warm for a while. And coming home to green grass after leaving with 10” of fresh snow on the ground was a nice Xmas gift. There was a major storm Christmas Day, and we were on the only ferry to get off the Gulf (San Juan) Islands that day! There are still people waiting to travel today…

43 at 2:30PM with it supposed to get up to 50 .... beginning to believe it will not make it .... rain in the form of drizzle has been in the forecast all day .... instead we've had rain in the form or rain leaving puddles everywhere .... highs for the next two days 70 tomorrow with a 70% chance of rain, 66 the day after with a 97% .... very quiet in our neighborhood and it will probably stay that way New Year's

37 this morning after another night of rain. Should be snow in the mountains adding to our snowpack which is above average. Down here in the valleys we are way behind on snow totals but doing great for just general precipitation. Not sure on today’s high but probably in the low 40’s. More of the same tomorrow but we may see the sun and some below freezing temps this coming week.

Not much on tap today other than watching Gonzaga play UCLA at 1:00 and then to a neighbors for a holiday get together.

Holy cow, saw snow north of us but didn’t expect that kind of volume. Don’t blame you for staying away. I was bitching to my neighbor yesterday about the gloomy weather and he correctly reminded me that we haven’t had to plow yet!
Yeah, we got the crappy end of the deal. 5 miles west of us there was 1/2”. I have the blade and chains for the tractor ready to go, but happily, they are still just in a heap on the shop floor:)

Good morning and welcome to the last Sunday of the year. Woke up early to rain and very windy conditions.
Was 51 degrees then, maybe 53, 54 now, but the 20 mph breeze has got things shaking and rattling. ;)

I’ve seen colder snowier winters in Texas than what is happening in Wisconsin right now. Of course it was -19F a month or so ago and will be near zero in a few days.

we are under a "Severe Thunderstorm Watch" that kicked in at 9:45AM and will be in effect through 5PM .... we have a warm 68 degree temp that is supposed to top out at 70 later this afternoon .... a strong storm front that did some damage in Charlotte and other areas south and west of us is just west of us ... "Breezy; a shower in spots late this morning followed by heavy rain and a thunderstorm this afternoon; any downpour can bring localized damaging wind gusts" .... thankfully, tornado watches/and warnings have been lifted .... our family is supposed to gather here later today for a small celebration of my 78th birthday .... time will tell and hopefully all will go well

Happy 78th Jim

Woke up to 34 and a light rain that didn’t cancel our morning dog hike. High expected to be around 38 with rain all day. Better the next couple of days with colder temps but low chances of rain/snow.

Today Mrs hatchdog is planning on taking the Christmas decorations and tree down so I’ll be pressed into a support role hauling bins up and down the stairs. I’ll do the outside stuff tomorrow when it’s not raining.

Tractor tire chains in a heap on the shop floor is good news. Hope they stay there until spring. My plow gear is ready but I haven’t mounted any blades on them yet. Like your chains, I’m hoping they stay this way until spring and them put back into storage. :D
