Pleasent mid 60's this morning meant to get to the mid 90's today and around 100 tomorrow.
Media is in a frenzy with heat wave predictions and temps of close to 120 predicted for some areas, it is just summer in Aus.

34 this morning with a possible nice ahead. We may see the upper 30’s and some sun breaks. Tonight we have a system coming in that could leave 2-4” of snow in my driveway. Then it might turn to rain and then snow again overnight. We’ll see about all that.

Good day to spend outdoors doing something… my dogs are bored so a good long hike in on tap for sure.

a front with rain moving from the southwest to the northeast has stalled for most of today just west of us .... so far we haven't gotten any rain and I really don't expect much (if any) before morning .... 57 as this is being typed at 9PM and they say the low for tonight will be 44 .... this morning we drove over to a neighboring town to find the DMV office where I am scheduled to renew my NC Driver's License this coming Tuesday morning .... highlight of today was working with to grandchildren who want to learn to cook on a grill ... they did a dang good job on some burgers .... just finished wrapping more Christmas gifts, things are very much subject to change but I believe that is about the end of it for this year

I have to go into the city today. We're selling the Legion Post building and
property and the pipes broke Saturday night and flooded the building. The Chairman of the
Holding Corp wants to have a meeting on site to discuss, (well, I don't know what as they
plan to demolish the building anyway), but as Vice Chair I agreed to be there. The closing
is on Wednesday and I will be happy to see it gone. It's been almost five years trying to
get it sold.

30 with a light snow falling. Prediction is for 1-3” but the weather folks are already waffling on that. Looks like the front is breaking up as it approaches our area. High of 34 or so with a possibility of freezing rain later.

Not much on tap for today other than the possibility of some light snow shoveling.

Had a bit to do at home yesterday so didnt leave for the farm until 2pm. It was 101 on the front lawn. Unreal the difference a few miles and 1500 feet elevation makes. 89 at the farm when we got there, spent the afternoon working on the hut we are building, with running water on 4 sides and a gentle breeze blowing it felt even cooler that 89.
77 at 7am was not meant to drop below 73 over night but todays top is only predicted to be 86, a bit of cloud cover about and the chance of a shower or storm.
Shaping up to be a pleasant Christmas day for us with a max of around 80 and overnight temp in the low 50's.

Woke up to 30 and about an inch of snow left over from yesterday. It’s starting to come down again but no additional accumulation is expected. Our pup sure enjoyed himself playing in it. The rest of the week is expected to get warmer so this white dirt will soon be gone! :D

Sunshine and currently no wind 68 degrees. Good times yesterday. That chicken was doing 360’s when you hit it just right with the 22. Shot some Skeet yesterday had a couple of good rounds.

34 when I got up about 1.5 hrs ago and it’s already up to 38. We have a warm front passing thru that’s bringing high winds but mostly to the south of me. North of me must have had lots of snow as there are many school delayed starts this morning. Here just light winds and rain. My wife was outside with the dogs overnight sometime and heard either a tree falling or maybe a large branch breaking off. Soon as it gets light I’ll check it out.
