Sneak peek of some Christmas Eve fun to come!

Post by fortyshooter » Thu Dec 12, 2024 7:06 pm

Just a peek of the new pinball and slot machine wife and I got for Christmas. A bit of FUN we both need and keeping it under wraps until Christmas Eve for my son and his family! Should be a great time. Playing with the Speed Racer slot last night and I hit the Tripple 7's and the thing lit up and went wild with music dumping 300 coins! :D

I am seated here in my man cave beside our Bally "Flip Flop" pin ball machine and by the gun safe is
my Seeburg "Happy Days" Juke box. I purchased both from The North Mountain Amusement Company
in Winchester, Va. back in the 70s.

You have a pair of great machines! There is a small electronics repair shop in our town and he repairs buys and sells all types of old audio/ video equipment and one specialty is pinball and gaming machines. That is where I found those two at for a decent price. He had a Flip Flop I was going to get but it still needs a good bit of work and would not be ready by Christmas. I saw the Beat the Clock and played it and really liked it....lots of action and sound...the thing talks to you! One of 500 machines built by Bally and it was in really great shape....so far.

Nice to have someone who can keep them running for you. I can remember back in high school outside Richmond in the county, going to the Pool / Pinball Club. You reserved your pool tables and while you waited your turn, both long walls were lined with pinball machines that drained your pockets...

More than one poor sap cancelled their table and left after too much fun on that addictive wall of pinball machines.
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.
