The girlfriend is hooked on it. I watch it with her on occasion. She's hooked on Ragnar.

I know she is going to have it DVR'ed, especially after seeing this, I will remind her.

I've watched series 1, 2, 3 & 4 and I absolutely love it. Series 5 has recently started, but I haven't seen any episodes yet.

They were definitely totally bada$$! :D (am I allowed to say that? )

Show is alright. Can't understand the fake accents.

Film companies sure do a good job on historical dramas now. There is another one called "Frontier" that is so visually good to look at, but I only saw 1 episode so I can't tell you what's going on. Looks like maybe American Revolution period? Vikings is another one that is really well done.

agree .... as noted above, last night they seemed to concentrate on developing several subplots that they will probably develop in coming episodes

last week's episode with the death of Ragnar was one of the most brutal to date .... its hard to see how the story will trend without him

VERY unpleasant way to go, but no screaming !!
Anyone else think the one eyed spirit is Ragnar ?
Seems focus is on Bjorn on Lagertha, for now, tonight "should" splain more !! We'll see if Queen Lagertha survives.
