A little unplanned upgrade this morning. Site is working ok it seems.

I basically repeated the process for the other billet, though I checked the position to insure the length would be correct. I did cheat a bit and glued the second billet in place since there wouldn't be a need to change a buckle down the road and it wouldn't hurt anything. Then I drilled the premarked holes and prepped to sew. Knocked 'er out and we were done. It actually fits. Room in the belt to GAIN weight, but if I lose much, it will hang in the closet. ;)

A long view shows the detail brought out with the antiquing. We are nearly done. I just need to add a finish and wax it a couple three times.

Fast? I thought it took a while. Most guys would have knocked it out in a day or two. :D
